  1. I had the red 83 GPZ750 brand new. What brand aftermarket bottom half fairing is that? I think the one I bought in 83 was by Targa. It was different that what you have
  2. It's more of a case of, anyone that tries, she will complain to adim, then, timeouts or bans. I'm still there, because I enjoy it, and do feel there is some sled help there. If only the tech info/help here could be on the level HCS Polaris board used to be. Just my 2 cents worth
  3. Whenever I see this vid, I cringe. Kinda like that feeling you get when you see someone get kicked in the nuts!
  4. My son, 1-1-2001 at a little over 9 years old 2-13-2020 at a little over 28 years old. Reliving his youth.
  5. I thought Jake worked at State Farm's call center?
  6. Is this enough to start with? If not I can whip this spatchcocked chicken up tomorrow. Both on the Weber kettle
  7. Standard is all I need. Same for shocks
  8. PS racers do this, but Guess who posted this at HCS Matryx board: "that's why us pro-stock drag racers remove as much rotating mass as possible"
  9. For me, seat at front is too narrow.
  10. Definitely overpriced. But,getting harder to find and a great kids sled.
  11. Agree that regardless of brand, all bags look like crap. The Matrix does have a storage spot under the seat. One qt of oil will fit. You could use 4 carriage bolts in the T slot, with a L bracket, with holes, a small rubber pad under it to save the tunnel paint, bolted down. Then use a motorcycle stretch cargo net over a duffle bag. Way cheaper and no uglier than the expensive tunnel bags.
  12. I agree with both Doug and Bontz, and yes Bontz Viper = Zr7000. The Viper with stock clutching isn't much for topend. The 600 will easily equal the Viper there. The 600 won't get the fuel mileage the Viper will. If you are a casual rider the 600 is fine. The 650 is a big step up from either the Viper or XC600.
  13. $50 shipped. Lower 48 states. Never used, Paypal ok if you pay fee's or send as Friend/Family
  14. It was easy to retro PERC to the 01 02 and 03 500-800 non perc sleds. I did a few. The OP could have one someone retro fitted. And to the OP, rebuild it
  15. I don't disagree with the no loud sleds movement, but it does concern me that some older sleds, even those made in the early 2000's it is getting harder to find a original oem supplied pipe or can. Aftermarket is the only thing left for some. Most of us old farts also know that a lite thumb can get you pass some places, but a open the hood checkpoint, can be costly.
