  1. LTL delivery in big cities. The freight system and delivery schedule needs a full rework. Too many trucks from different companies making trips to virtually the same place in the same time frame. Not sure how that gets changed to something more efficient like one truck doing it in off hours.
  2. Could you start with Ottawa and Toronto. A ground invasion would be disastrous. They are fanatical communists. Better nuke the sites from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
  3. I think, much like covid, the public is wearing thin of the daily fucking updates. It's happening, there is little I can do about it, so why drag it to the front of the daily news already. Good MSM...leave it the fuck alone
  4. Hannity had him on today. Made me head to his website. Need more podcasts. Canadian talk radio is circling the fucking drain IMO, save a few. Alex Pierson, Jerry Agar, sometimes John Oakley but he's bipolar I think.
  5. Anyone under 12 up here can not be charged with a crime, Omar Khadar killed Chirstopher Speer at 14 and we handed him 10 million dollars. The numbers are all over the fucking map for responsibility.
  6. I miss Mark Levin He used to be a fill in host on shows I listen to. Smarts, wit and a sense of humor.
  7. Calling someone names does not make it so. Yes, some of the morons, and they are morons, that get recorded ranting about Trump do seem to treat it like a cult. He is one man. As awful as the Republican party is, they are far superior to the democrats. Same goes up here, our Liberals to Conservatives.
  8. All true. It's astounding how some can twist facts to suit a narrative.
  9. Essentially a ban on lithium battery powered "vehicles" in the apartment building https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/e-scooters-ban-parkdale-building-tenants-1.6966666
  10. He'd be wise to start with a mass firing. The bureaucracies remain despite elections. It's one of the biggest faults in our democracies.
  11. I am not a "Trumper", but yes. Much of what our government does is self serving and not based on the best interest of the people. Most, if not all governments, including the ones I've felt compelled to vote for.
  12. I don't have a cult leader, nor a preferred party. I vote on issues, so much that I was unable to cast a ballot last provincial election. Anyone that had a chance to win was a bad choice I get news and information from a wide scope of sources. The left in Canada are the autocratic ones, not those that lean to the right side of the political spectrum. Those on the right, up here anyway want nothing to do with reproductive rights and, for the most part want government out of the way on such issues as the cost of housing, energy and rights. Goverment is the cause of the problem, not the solution to it. Everything government touches, from health care and education to the cost of energy, inflation etc it fucks up royally.
  13. Abortion and gay rights. The same tropes the left up here uses as the wedge issues. I am left perplexed how issues that may have little bearing on a small percentage of the population, have such clout on the low information voter. Can't afford to live, buy a home, put gas in the car and get to work...but they are going to vote for a party that taxes the shit out of everything, wants to spend billions trying to take guns from law abiding citizens "to stop gun crime", hands billions to special interest groups...all because I like the use of pronouns and want parents rights removed. All societies have failed. What makes us special?
  14. It's called perseverance. I've succeed under our dope only by working longer hours and spending less. Lord help those that don't have that option,
  15. Brother in law backs up to my gas tank and fills up. Granted, I gave him permission once, now it's a given. Small price to pay to see him leave, knowing he has enough gas to go very far...
  16. Still outstanding felony charges. He should teach the orange devil how to drag them out for almost a decade.
  17. Why does anyone care what ICE vehicle manufactures go through? Let them and their business die. Electric is where it's at...or not. I'm done handing out $$$ to private business..and governement too. We've bailed this and other industry out more than enough times. I'm surprised we are not still handing money out to buggy whips, hula hoops, solar and wind.. Oh wait...
  18. Whose power was he stealing? Looks to be grid power. I had to think about it as it is pretty standard on a job site. I plug into building power for my tools etc without really asking the building owner. I'm trying to equate it to going into someone else sea can and helping myself to their gas for my generator. Being a car I think muddies the waters. Guy is a douche in the end I suppose.
  19. 32 mpa concrete want from $150 to $250 during Covid. Many up here are $6 to $10 a square foot. Concrete is the number 1 generator of CO2 on the planet, so carbon taxes really sting. I paid around $110 a meter for 32 mpa for a decade with good employee pricing.
  20. Could you Cole’s notes that? Assume it’s someone that did not divest their interests or declare a conflict of interest. Very common. They will get a pass. You and I would get hit with insider trading or fiduciary duty type charges. The rich, powerful and elected get a pass…even when they actively participated.
  21. Years ago me, now wife and buddy were going to tent camp a spot on a lake, his parents planned to build a cottage on. Blackfly season. Buddy’s mom had some new bug net hats she insisted we take. I am not gonna wear that shit was my attitude. Fuck me. I barely got out of the truck and them fuckers were like piranha. Wore that gay ass hat with gratitude.
  22. Friends don’t let friends do concrete….and you sure as fuck don’t get your kids involved When contractors or customers bring their kids to jobs, I make sure to tell them “stay in school or this could be you”.
