  1. I doubt it will move the needle very far. Governments and corporations now know how much they can tax or charge before people will rebel against high prices. If one aspect of the cost goes down, rest assured, the others in the chain will suck much of that up. Perhaps I am too cynical?
  2. The global order no longer works for the common man. Good riddance.
  3. Maybe Trump needs to add a carbon tax on pretty much every aspect of food production and distribution. It sure made fruits and vegetables cheaper up here!!
  4. WTF is Vietnamese Dong. and why would someone want to take such, unless you swing that way? Not that I'm judging.
  5. I pretty much ignore what Trudeau does on guns. I have almost no clue as to what's on his list, because frankly I don't care to. What I bought, I bought legally, so as far as I'm concerned one can't be made a retroactive criminal. Pierre has already said he will change everything back to where it was in 2015 so it furthers my don't give a fuck what the Dope does.
  6. FFS. Pure Michigan
  7. Pardoned in the US, not in Ukraine. It doesn't have to be over.
  8. Are they a subsidiary of our trucker convoy?
  9. Almost like there are many different flocks. Canada is full of Nazis, ask Trudope or watch some of the protests in Jewish neighborhoods. US universities are choc full o’ Narzis too . Ask Stefanik.
  10. I'd prefer Ottawa to Toronto, but only when the house is sitting.
  11. I want that for our upcoming election.
  12. Good. There are many quasi ngo's that need to have a wake up call. There should not be a line item attached to a budget for these things. The needs and tasks they perform, must be justified at the time.
  13. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/liberals-freeland-trudeau-successor-1.7417301 Freeland studied Russian history. Perhaps she should bone up on some Canadian history...or not. Couldn't happen to a bigger piece of shit IMO.
  14. Best get your eyes checked, or your hormone levels.
  15. No doubt he's done, its how long he has left and how much more pain he can inflict. I am cynical enough to believe that both the NDP or Bloc, are not above going back on their claim of ousting the Liberals, if Trudeau were to offer enough goodies to one or the other.
  16. The GG is the crowns representative from across the pond. Zero chance she does anything but what Sir Dopesalot asks of her.
  17. What makes you think Joe wouldn't stoop to something like this? His upfront, honest, best for America political history? I put nothing past ANY politician. I've been burned too many times. Frosty is likely correct...it'll get the pleebs to focus on this and miss bigger fish to fry.
  18. Trudeau can prorogue as soon as the house sits again. I can't see him putting the business of Canada off for months and months, but I've underestimated his narcissism and hubris many times. He's still in the drivers seat, albeit there are more mutineers in the cab.
  19. I wish I could thank the Orange Devil, but alas it is not. Singh is the polar opposite of the Orange Devil. Singh is the one in control. He thinks simply of his political future, not for the good of Canadians. Much like Harris and Biden. We both suffer from the weight of a similar yoke. Our system puts all the power at the head of the snake, much like your "executive order". Only Trudeau calls the shots, even if every MP below him says it's time to go.
  20. Don't think that is going to work. Only the Prime Minister can say he has lost the confidence of the house. For good reason. Otherwise some back bencher could do such Perhaps, if enough MP's added their names to such an ask, with the required numbers. Pierre is acting like a petulant child, and it's not a good look.
  21. There is hope on that front. If we get a new government as soon as seems possible, we may be able to dig deep with resolve. We have energy deposits, that if we can get them to market, can fuel the world. The premier of Alberta has your back. it will take time however. If only Canada hadn’t fucked away the last 8 years.
  22. Many Canadians are in the position of worrying about groceries, energy and paying the mortgage. Whilst our leaders continue to make daily living less and less affordable, with a seemingly unlimited borrowing capacity, average Canadians have no such luxury. Our soon relief of an election, will not turn this around fast enough for many. Let them eat cake will be the Trudeau legacy. He’ll be fine
