  1. yeah, that year there was 2-3 feet of water on top of the trails by the swamp...
  2. a foot on the ground already is great... if it sticks... and if it doesn't keep the ground insulated so it never freezes. we had a early winter like that in 2004. first year I had my firecat. bunch of trails were flooded out, brooks overflowing.... what a mess that year was. couldn't get to Al's because the trail was closed.....
  3. You say this like FCA is different from toyota, honda or Kia
  4. yup, movie takes place in 2017, all women go to bars with a lawyer and guys have turned to sex robots... they were really only a year off and honestly how long will it be until vegas is some warlord run wasteland
  5. bad thing about this one is she can still talk with a dick in her mouth
  6. where slowly catching up to our 80's post apocolypse movies can anyone name this one based on the description In 2017, a successful businessman travels to the ends of the earth to find that the perfect woman is always under his nose. He hires a sexy renegade tracker to find an exact duplicate of his android wife
  7. the woolie/ginger rift is really causing a major impact across the continent
  8. well, if he's going to go that far I'm going to hold them liable for my next security issue. In for a penny in for a fucking pound
  9. still look over my shoulder now and then... when I was going to UMASS whitey's brother was the president.... the rat and I happened to share the same name.... i'm sure there was more than one guy who who decided they had to physically make sure I wasn't the one with the price on my head....
  10. that's to protect from storm surge not rising seas... odd that the worst hurricanes and floods we have had in new england were in the 30's and the 50's... during the flood of 55 we got something like 25" of rain dumped on the ct river valley. and then walls like they are proposing wouldn't help anything... might even hurt things. the town I grew up in had it's entire downtown/main street under 5 feet of water a couple times. in 2011 my uncles shop was under 3-4 feet at least because the idiots released the water in a dam during a hurricane fearing it would break well below maximum capacity. but hey, we were in a drought they must have been concerned about all the rain we were getting...
  11. *sigh* this has already been gone over. a snowmobile track is not a circle so your formula doesn't apply. the actual diameter of the drive wheel is what changes the speed the track moves along the ground. if it was a round tire you would be correct (but only if the lugs stayed on top of the ground like pavement), but a flat belt that moves along the ground works just like jeff said, an airport belt. if we went by your thinking a 160"+ track would change the final ratio too.

    Moto!!!

So does drawing pictures took a biology of cancer and aids class in college. really awesome class. 500 seat lecture hall and people were sitting on the floor just to listen in. anyway.. one of the little interesting things that were done with children with cancer was to draw how they thought there cancer looked. most of the kids drew big scary monsters. over time they would have the kids draw them less and less scary and smaller, etc. in the vast majority of kids tested the cancers shrunk at least temporarily and in something like 25% (going by memory her, this was almost 20 years ago) the cancer either maintained the size or disappeared altogether. this study was shown to us to emphasize the body's own ability to fight cancerous cells. it does so every day in every person.
  13. you're an idiot. your post literally supports what Bhent and I said ONLY embassys are considered sovereign. consulates are not. yes, diplomats are immune and police are not allowed in their working areas, but they can go inside the consulate and do have jurisdiction there.
  14. thinking about this from another view. This happened at the worst possible time for the saudis. with the businesses they were courting for life after oil basically evaporating after this went down. If the US government knew that this was happening and that Jr. had a business deal going with them, you would think that they would have pushed a little harder to prevent this from making him look bad.
  15. aside from cruising around in patrol cars they had a teen force that did the same thing in my town when I was in school. they would work all the town events basically
  16. nationalism is not fascism or dictatorship given the definition below, I would 100% say he is Nationalism is a political, social, and economic system characterized by the promotion of the interests of a particular nation, especially with the aim of gaining and maintaining sovereignty (self-governance) over the homeland. The political ideology of nationalism holds that a nation should govern itself, free from outside interference and is linked to the concept of self-determination. Nationalism is further oriented towards developing and maintaining a national identity based on shared, social characteristics, such as culture and language, religion and politics, and a belief in a common ancestry.[1][2] Nationalism, therefore, seeks to preserve a nation's culture, by way of pride in national achievements, and is closely linked to patriotism, which, in some cases, includes the belief that the nation should control the country's government and the means of production.[3]
  17. it wasn't an embassy, it was a consolate. big difference legally. an embassy is considered sovereign whereas a consolate is considered leased property... hell legally the cops have every authority to march into a consolate up to the point where officials have offices. generally they don't as a matter of courtesy but legally a consulate is just a leased property.
  18. speaking of 911, this journalist was buddy buddy with bin laden as well
  19. do we really do it "better" though?? I think the only reason this came up at all was the fact that the guy worked in DC for a little while at the post. it's a very normal thing in countries like that for journalists to be rounded up and dissapeared. another thing you hear fairly often when you watch bourdain's show. He interviews journalists and they talk about how many have been killed during regime changes. Simple fact was, this guy knew he had a target on his back for his views and bugged out of the country. the Saudi's have been trying to get him to come back for the last year apparently. they got sick of waiting and sent out a message that you can't hide from them. Hell, the saudis held the lebanese prime minister captive while he was there last year and made him air a resignation and blame it on Iran and internal power struggles. He later rescinded the resignation. the recording is sick as fuck if the description is accurate. carved/sawed the fucker up while he was alive. We don't hear 99% of what goes on over there because the US people don't care about what they do to each other as long as we get their cheap oil.
