Unfortunately its because we have a batshit crazy karen down the street that calls the cops on us for noise every other day, but occasionally, i get to use it for mufflers
cant say, we wont touch anything from them. it was about the same as the SLP we tested, and i've always been a fan of their mufflers. quieter than the jaws, both race and trail.
I havent dyno'd that combo. on the cat 800, the diamond S was one of the few we tested that did actually make some more power. and i think they sound really good, but obviously that's a personal thing.

You listed the helix as 38/40. That would be a reverse angle helix that starts on the 38 and transitions to 40.
Which do exist, but are generally only used for very specific applications.
Or do you actually have a 40/38 and wrote it backwards? which i see a lot
