Quoting any study is an effort in futility. The numbers change daily for everything. One day the pfizer jab is XX% effective against the variants and the next day it's something else. One day you're jab protects you at XX% effectiveness for six months and then suddenly that number is reduced by XX after only a few months. Fucking ridiculous. What hasn't changed is the fact that it is still one massive experiment on millions of people and the short term effects are already known. Far too many people have already died from the shot compared to any other vaccine in the history of man yet they continue to force it on people. What is yet to be known is what the long term effects are going to be. Pretty sure I have had the variant and survived it's wrath. I wasn't masking up before infection and now that I may be lucky enough to have survived and possess an immune system with real antibodies I'm definitely not masking up now regardless of the rules. Even during the masking mandates I rarely, if ever visited a business that required them.

At the moment they cannot tell you if you have covid classic, covid variant XYZ, seasonal flu, flu variant, the common cold or tonsillitis. Personal experience changes everything and I can tell you this. The most staunch supporters of the vaccine in my family have suddenly changed their stance on it completely after what everyone just went through. Not a single one of them is planning to get the booster. Many have already said they wished they would have never gotten the experimental shit in the first place.

Apologize for the long post here but pretty sure myself, wife, daughter and several members of the family have already had the Delta. Got it over the memorial day weekend family get together at the lake house. Some family flew in from out of state. Everyone that got it had all of the symptoms including the most prominent difference where you do NOT lose taste or smell like the regular vid. Shit was definitely nasty and I personally have not been that sick with anything before that lasted for 6 weeks nor have I ever pounded so much Advil and Nyquil in my life but we all managed to kick it over the last two months. What was interesting to me was that there was zero difference in severity between those in the family that had the vax and got it or those that did not have the vax and got it. Same shit and duration either way so I call bullshit on everyone saying but, but, but if you have the vax you won't be as sick - total bullshit. What is really strange is since I have been symptom free over the last two weeks some of the symptoms (albeit very mild) will suddenly pop back up for a couple of days and then go away again. It's why I think it has to be the delta as the "seasonal flu" has never been like this. Here is the best part. I did not bother to get tested but several family members did. Every single one of them with all of the symptoms raging tested negative for the vid. I think the test is completely fucked. Last fall there all those false positives so they changed the cycle thresholds in January of this year and suddenly very few people testing positive in order to push the vax, because you know it has to be working if cases are down to nothing. Now the CDC comes in and suddenly does not recommend the PCR test anymore until they can improve it supposedly to tell the difference between the vid, the delta, the flu, a cold or something else. This whole thing is a fucking ongoing clown show of massive proportions.

It's all one giant conspiracy concocted to insure people everywhere believe that the earth is a sphere because if they actually learned that it was flat then..... then.... then... then..... well, what then? Some good points. Proper depth to launch and reload is the absolute critical factor. Use the fenders on the trailer as a guide to easily figure out exactly where you need to be to launch and more critically get the boat straight on the bunks or rollers when reloading. As already stated you need someone that knows what they are doing either in the boat to drive it out of the way (or back on the trailer) or standing with ropes to guide it over to the dock. If you are worried about rashing the boat when loading or unloading make sure you have bumpers to protect the sides where it will come in contact with the dock. Busy boat ramps are the best way to otherwise kill a great day on the water. So much so we gave them up many years ago and they have only gotten worse recently now that everyone is using boating as a way to get away from it all. Our go to breakfast spot is also a marina with a public launch. There is no better free entertainment then having a couple screwdrivers with breakfast watching people launching and loading their boats. So here is my TOP TIP..... If you are new to the experience find the launch you plan on using and visit it the first time WITHOUT the boat and trailer and you will learn more in a couple of hours of what NOT to do and what you need to prepare for.

Run the numbers including all worst case scenario's and if the profit vs. hassle factor is worth it to you do it. Personally I don't want people staying in my vacation home and definitely bought the place so I could take off at a moments notice and not have to worry about a schedule or someone else staying there when I want to use it. Most people I know doing this simply use it as a way to offset their cost of ownership specifically when they don't have the time to use it that often. Those that are paying a management company to take care of everything including cleaning services, fix-it services, etc. are not making much or any profit after they pay all their bills. Again, just depends on what you feel a worthwhile return on your money is vs. the hassle. One thing I do know is no matter who you have managing it they never remove 100% of the pain and it's never a completely hands off investment.
