All it needed was new fuel line and shutoff valve. Also added some rubber belt to the impeller blades so it throws snow a bit farther. Figured when the motor gives up I will slap a cheap chinese honda clone on it. Not many Toro fans in this thread but this elon musk powered unit is nothing short of impressive. Overpriced cheap chinese plastic but it weighs next to nothing and the 60V 6.0AH battery runs long enough to do all the walkways, fire pit area and decks. Have the leaf blower, line trimmer and chain saw as well.

They added a cable so it feels like pulling on a cable again. Basically added more resistance and a "cable feeling" for riders that would never buy the sled anyway.

With all the smash and grab groups working now they must have gotten tired of stealing small amounts over multiple trips to the store. My daughter worked holiday season last year at Target and was surprised that everyone is told to just let shoplifters do their thing. Nobody would even call the police until the thief hits the $1K mark in stolen goods. My daughter said there were several "regulars" in stealing shit all the time and nothing was done until it crossed the threshold. So everyone is good to go in Target for up to a grand of free shit. Fucking crazy.

Setup is everything. Hear it all the time. Took a test ride on a buddies sled and it sucked. Which means buddies sled was either setup for him or more likely than not setup by the dealer which often times is terrible or worse then a rider that has zero clue how to setup the suspension on a sled. I would have had no issues buying a Winder and my dealer offered one for a day for an extended test ride but after making multiple adjustments there was no way to eliminate how nose heavy and unbalanced the thing is compared to the G4. Maybe power steering will help give it a lighter feeling up front but beyond handling the drive train is a weak point and overall it's just not as reliable. The engine is excellent though as it should be.

Yeah, I would have said it's the exact opposite up North. The Shell stations, BP's, Kwik Trip's in towns all have hundreds of auto's filling up with 87 all day every day. That fuel turns over far faster than premium in my opinion. I would only fill up at a "Bar Tank" if I personally know the owner/operator and trust when he says the fuel is fresh and his tank is clean.

I avoided dirty carbs by eliminating them altogether from 1993 on.
