  1. Great engine? Of course it is but there is more to a sled for me than HP. The XS chassis with that engine was good, not great. More HP is not fixing that just adding more complexity and shit that won't work when you need it to most. I have friends that just love to tinker with that shit and that is exactly what they end up doing. The season is just far too short for me to waste time doing that.
  2. Before I bought my 20' 900T I really wanted to like the Thunderwinder. My dealer back at that time has Yam, Doo and Poo and I test rode the Yamacat for a day. The engine had plenty of juice but that was its best quality. Take all of the shit parts that need to be replaced in the drivetrain to make it half way reliable and to it that the Yam was $2500 more than the Doo and it was an easy choice. That Spring Cat had the fire sale on Thundercat's but it was a total of $500 less and my go to Cat dealer for years had dropped the brand in 2018. Complete non-starter there.
  3. My 1200 Blizzard was an excellent sled. The 129 skid was great, it just needed better shocks. My 900T is better in so many ways. But I trail ride and have zero interest in dick measuring and sword fighting on kevlar lake.
  4. Bold statement. There is a massive black hole of knowledge around the experimental vax. Most sheep keep forgetting the fact that even after millions upon millions of doses it is still experimental. Once the fucking drug companies actually step up and accept liability for all of the negative shit that has happened and is still happening to people then maybe I will consider it. Until that time I will live whatever the fucking man made virus does, whether that is due to scientists in the lab cooking up more potent strains and then convincing sheep this was all due to nature and more bats fucking pangolins..... People need to wake up soon and realize they are being groomed into accepting extinction through stupidity.
  5. I thought all lake racers prefer mountain sleds.... That old poo seemed to start and run pretty good though for an old couch..... Speaking of ass draggers. There must have been a million of them on open trailers heading up to the yoop last week. Driving north on 51 was like attending a mobile yard sale.
  6. The Poo and Cat guys like to quote US market share only. Queue someone to chime in that sales really don't matter......
  7. Has to be because we are in the way pulling sleds around corners. Did not ride until last Friday and Saturday but the trails were surprisingly good in the Northwoods. Figured the temps and light rain on Thursday would have killed them. Saturday was excellent. Hopefully we get more than 4" of snow tomorrow.
  8. Agree. The 20' I bought new in 19' was $14,200. The same optioned sled in a 23' is now $20K. I will be keeping my sled for a long time to come unless prices settle back to some sort of reality.
  9. Man twenty plus minutes of saying the same thing over and over and over again. Sold two cars in my fleet this year because I knew this was coming. Both times from dealers writing me checks. It was nice for a change vs. haggling over a trade in price. In both instances they paid way above what the cars should have been worth. Bought my wife's Mazda back in July of 20' just before covid car prices hit. Dealer had more of them on the lot than at any other time I had been there for the past 3 years so I was able to buy a $49K stickered vehicle for $40K. I normally replace her car every three to four years. I just checked their inventory. They went from having zero cars 6-8 months ago so order at MSRP to now having 70 cars (of the model she drives) on the lot right now. Inventory is starting to build fast and they are currently discounting $2.5K off sticker at the moment. Won't need to buy for another 6-12 months so hopefully things will slowly keep getting back to normal.
  10. Last place I had a huge driveway and plowed with a subcompact tractor and loader mounted blade. That kinda spoiled me. I had a small single stage that I used to do the sidewalk and other areas around the property. I now have a small driveway and a run of sidewalk at the new house. Thought I could get away with the single stage. This year has been a bit of a challenge as with all this snow I am running out of places my single stage can throw it to and of course the 2-3ft drifts the city plows leave me are a nice gift that I see now needs a better tool for the job..... Looking at an Ariens as they seem to be the best option. The only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger are the fucking stupid prices they now have on these things. My single stage that was $279 back in 2012 is now $799 and the large units are all around $2K..... May just decide to wait for spring sales.....
  11. Nice house. Is that an Arien's snowblower?
  12. That video had to be CGI with a fake voiceover. He gave that sled far too many compliments. I wonder if Doo is buying the Lester's better lunches than Poo these days. Afterall he was drinking a Perrier. It will still tip over every time you try to turn. Just looking at the triangles and the seating position it's clear that chassis is a complete ripoff of the Catalisp.
  13. How can you be so sure? Pageants are all about inclusiveness these days and it's getting harder to tell. The jawline is a bit suspicious.
  14. Had so much fun in the 90's on our Cats. Brother had a 99' ZRT.
  15. Here is a shot of the interior of the McLaren. It's really nice. The Ferrari 488 is going in for a tune in two weeks. Will take it to near 850HP. Will still get beat in the quarter by a plaid but after driving this car and hearing that engine wail at 8000RPM it's pointless to even mention the tesla in the same sentence.
  16. The blue one is a Range Rover Sport SVR.
  17. Just got back from a Texas trip. Normally not driving around the metroplex much when I go but this time I spent about 2 entire days driving. Holy fuck, Tesla's are everywhere you look. Even more prevalent than Jeeps which used to be like mosquitos (and still are) all around the city. Kinda' ironic since the only non-minivan vehicle left at National rent a hunk was a Gladiator, so I took it. Bad choice but that's another story for another time. I have nothing against electrics (other than range and practicality for my requirements) and acknowledge the selective performance benefits but they (Teslas) sure are ugly fucking things. Once you start seeing them everywhere and at all times it's just weird. Can't they design just a little more personality into these cars? They look like fucking drones going down the road in large numbers. And why can't Musk get that fucking roadster he promised like what 20 years ago now into production? At least you could have a shred of dignity racing and beating sports cars in something that looks like an actual sportscar and not a fucking blob of shit sedan. The trip was fun though. I was able to take a couple of rips in these two while I was there. I could give two shits what the plaid can do. I would still spend my cash on something that looks and sounds like a two seat performance car first.... Both of these sound so sweet. And yes, every fucking model 3 that I came across wanted to race, or take videos.
  18. That plane will crash before it makes the mainland....
  19. No, no, no, this was just a bunch of triangles and you cannot invent a triangle. Something that had already been invented. The catalyst on the other hand is supposedly made up of nonagons or some other shape yet unknown to man.... It's why you still can't buy one.
  20. Is that dumstad's blast parked out back?

Got the first shingles shot last month. Had a pretty bad fever for a couple of days and felt like crap but that's better than getting shingles. I know a couple of people that have had it and it really does suck.

I think if a team makes the playoffs they deserve to be there. Both #12's have nothing left to prove in their old age. They are already established HOFs. I do think their time of being great is done. Once you lose mobility in the current league you are pretty much done. Sitting in the pocket and completing passes is not enough anymore. You have to hit targets and scramble when none of them are open. For any player like them they need to figure out a way to leave the sport with some dignity left and before it really gets ugly. Brady's day yesterday was about as ugly as it gets.

Would be a shame if he becomes another Moss. The best thing for any really good Vikings player is to get traded so they have a shot at the ring. The Eagles look like the real deal this year and unless they have injury problems they will likely be playing for it. I am actually hoping the Bills can make again and finally win one. Lived there for a couple years during the Jim Kelly era. Congrats to the Lions fans. Goff is playing really good football right now.

Living near and working in and around the twin cities for over 30 years has taught me one thing. Viking's fans are some fucking diehard sumbitches. Watching their teams stumble and fail for decades yet the fans are as rabid as any football fans I have ever seen or experienced first hand on the planet. They talk shit about packer fans all the time yet these fuckers have to be 100% batshit crazy to keep stepping up and rooting for a team that cannot produce championships. My daughter was a big Seattle fan mostly because of Wilson and Lynch so I bought some tickets to the Seattle playoff game. Yes, dumb enough to pay actual money to attend the 3rd coldest game in NFL history and freeze our asses off. My takeaway from this experience? Completely drunk off their asses viking fans deciding to harass my then 15 year old daughter because she was wearing her Lynch jersey and he was not even playing in that game. The feeling of complete and utter satisfaction when even though Seattle played like absolute dog shit in that game and then still beating those fucking half wits hallowed team in the last seconds. A memory my daughter and I still cherish and laugh our asses off about every football season. Sorry, forgot to add that it is no surprise that the Lions are favored in todays game.....
  25. Please get head out of ass. Prices are fucking higher on everything we buy but I guess if you find a sale on one particular item at one point in time that means the fucktards in DC are doing a bang up job.
