    I rode mine a little right after riding the 800 and wasn't sure how it'd feel but it still felt fast. Squirming and fighting for traction will keep it entertaining, it even picked a ski up once when I pinned it at around 30. I can't wait to ride it some more. With the gearing they go about 80 on the speedometer, I think I got slightly over 80 on a road last year. Usually 75 on average trail conditions. Usually a speedometer not working is an indication that your track shaft bearing is bad. When it goes bad it will break the little 2" cable section between the shaft and the speedo adapter. If it has all balls bearings in it, it's probably bad. Those are the cheapest shittiest China bearings.
  5. Found some snow

    They are stupid fun for the trails I ride. I've always liked the 97 ZL. Nope. Guy told me Thursday the person he was holding for was making arrangements to get it and the ad is now gone. Pretty tough miss. Maybe if @Sled_Hedwould have alerted me to it sooner, I would have got it. Thanks alot.

    Took the Jag out for a shakedown today, Stayed with the stock motor but it got some Suzuki pistons and I bumped the timing. Felt strong, rips pretty good! 20-60 is exciting. I have a hi po belt and a roller clutch I'd like to test with. I got new shocks and polished the adjusters. Tip top shape!
  8. Lug flick strikes again.
  9. Here is that F7. Was at 6500, now they lowered the price to a much more reasonable number. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/snw/d/elk-river-2004-arctic-cat-f7-fighter/7428651178.html
  10. You're right. Not obsessed at all. It's just me.
  11. Here's a decent SX sled for sale https://m.facebook.com/marketplace/item/491157159008478/?ref=browse_tab&search_query=Arctic cat&tracking={"qid"%3A"-7096367682242301651"%2C"mf_story_key"%3A"5017716404926949"%2C"commerce_rank_obj"%3A"{\"target_id\"%3A5017716404926949%2C\"target_type\"%3A0%2C\"primary_position\"%3A-1%2C\"ranking_signature\"%3A0%2C\"commerce_channel\"%3A503%2C\"value\"%3A0}"}
  12. You might be able to make the cover work with some modification to the foam or other surrounding parts, I'm not sure.
  13. I think the longer the lug height you have, it is harder for it to pick the snow up into the tunnel, it just wants to shoot it out the back instead.
  14. That is what happens on my sled. Granted it's very different being a high country and rarely sees a trail. But same issue, it shoots a giant rooster tail out back but the snowflap doesn't catch any of it. I think that's a lot of the issues, that's what the other guy was saying too with the heavier rider thing.
  15. The same company you're all obsessed with.
  16. They're very different. The 92 gas tank was only 7 gallons or so. The 93+ was 11 gallons and went under the seat instead of just going in front of it. The 92 seat stops at the front where it meets the plastic covering tank and key switch, etc, but the 93+ seat cover goes under it a little. So I'm not sure a 92 cover will work without also changing to the other 92 parts like the tank, plastic shroud, and whatever else is different. But I'm not totally sure, I haven't had my hands on a 92. I prefer the seamless look of the 93+ setup, with the 92 there is a visible gap there.
  17. An HCS history lesson, awesome.
  18. Oh look another jealous Polaris owner
  19. China just doesn't make things like they used to.
  20. We had a Polaris when I was a kid. It had some of that patriot durability in its DNA for sure. It is jealousy bontz. Why do you follow cat like a rabid dog? Jealousy. I have told you I don't follow the other brands at all other than what I might see on here.
  21. #2 mob to the rescue! Yes I don't keep up with the other brands, why would I? I'm not like you haters where I know more about the history of other companies than your own history... Jealousy. I saw some number 2 fan clubbers hating on cat for limiting orders, do I figured the #2 leader was not limiting. Maybe this hate was before they copied Cat. Funny I never saw them hate on #2 for it or talk about it.. Funny how that works. "Fair and balanced". Now you guys are triggered by me not paying attention to your brands? 😹 I'm sorry you guys. Maybe if you'd post more about them instead of your undying hatred for Arctic Cat, you could educate me on all the wonderful things about your second most popular favorite brand! Like patriots, Matryx's, and axsys, oh my! 😱 Super Trax even just posted an article, it was a follow up to a previous cat article, they talked about how the previous article that was solely about Cat got more feedback than anything they've done. Cat sure does have your guys' panties in a bunch. Good luck with it guys.
  22. I never heard that. But if true, some of the resident idiots here might want to know, they were slamming cat for cutting off orders in the spring, calling it "bad business". Real bright bulbs those Polaris die hards. Deephaven, bontz, etc. Completely brand blind supporter's of the bar graph company that brought you unmatched durability. I'm sure their tune would have changed if their #2 daddy started copying cat (again).
  23. Ah, a chihuahua.
