  1. Well our wonderful state has a $1500 tax credit coming for EV Bikes - yup, that’s part of the new EV bill coming.

    Yikes!

We had an insurance claim this past year where some 22 year old got “hit” by the drag behind the groomer… how did this happen? While he was trying to PASS the groomer crossing the road. It made zero sense to any rational person that our drag hit him, but that’s what insurance is for.
  3. So another vote driven comment just went up in flames... Student Loans will be kicking back in this summer you twats! And yes, my daughter is one of them...
  4. Well after Uber threatened to cut service outside the wealthy sections of the Twin Cities, dumb fuck Walz did the only thing he could do, and Veto the ride share bill that would have made Minnesota the most expensive place in the nation to operate, yes, even more expensive than Manhattan. But he did go ahead and sign the Family Medical Paid Leave Act. Using the Uber driver who makes $60k a year, that means for $468, that driver can take 12 weeks off PAID, at $1000 a week. Yeah, this will end well... But no worries here about keeping that TIT funded! They seeded it with $668M until the .7% payroll tax can sustain it long term. All those damn rich business men and woman, they can afford it, they make too much as it is!! FFS
  5. And then you @Snake can work your way across central Sconnie through La Crosse and take I90 avoiding all the shit around the Twin Cities. Be sure to make a stop in Sioux Falls, a very clean city with many restaurants and places to have a drink, all within walking distance around the Falls Park area, beautiful part of town there. We are making that our last stop on our way back on a two week road trip out west.
  6. That's cool - but what the article is also saying is, there is not enough infrastructure to move that wind generated electricity to other parts of the state. This is why one county that went all in is seeing their revenues go down, as there is no where to push that electricity away from the generation points, at least longer distances. And I'm sure staffing issues are part of that as well.
  7. This is a good listen for what MN is doing, filled with lots of facts and numbers. Pat is on the show for over an hour... https://garagelogic.com/episode/5-24-rep-pat-garofalo-in-studio-with-some-extremely-eye-opening-information-from-the-latest-legislative-session/
  8. Minnesota has two huge wind farms in the south western edge of the state. Problem is transmission lines to move that electricity is 10+ years behind. They have more generation than they can handle, but can’t move it anywhere. https://kstp.com/5-investigates/minnesota-has-17-years-to-reach-100-renewable-energy-experts-say-were-already-behind-schedule/
  9. @800renegaderiderThis is about 115k on one side of my license plate. You can see three places the gutter guard is cracked or missing. Not sure if what hit it would have taken out the condenser, but mine is still original. I know other owners who have had theirs taken out without this additional screen.
  10. Not sure, maybe that’s why it took two years to get a shovel in the ground.
  11. Gutter guard inside the grill works wonders.
  12. I’ve given up skiing and I couldn’t stand still on a board on a slope. My kid I used to have on the other hand… Welch from the garage.
  13. I really didn't do anything more than you listed... I guess I push myself at times. Plus I am kinda the opposite as most people. The heat of the summers drive me nuts.... anything over 75 degrees and I'm done.
  14. That's the one I posted the link for 2 posts above... Looks like all Xcel Energy property.
  15. Staying home and enjoying the lack of people - where I live it seems like 75% leave town on Holiday weekends. I intentionally stay home on Memorial, 4 of July, and Labor Day weekends, its the best!!
  16. Lost 25 pounds snowmobiling this year, and my back hasn't acted up in almost a year now. I'm sure I've put 5+ of that back on...
  17. Yeah - not sure where its from, but been really good.
