  1. Funny you bring this up. The MN DNR did a study recently on what types of vehicles do the most damage to snowmobile trails, while taking up a proposal to allow ATV’s on snowmobile trails in the winter. The findings were ATV’s, then paddle tracks, then 1-1.5” tracks. The conclusions were enough to not allow ATV’s usage of groomed trails in the winter. Although paddle tracks of 2” or greater were right with the ATV’s in how much they tear up the groomed trails, the consensus was there is no real way to enforce any snowmobile from being on the trails.
  2. You know, I believe you, and I agree with you, yes I've read that. BUT, when are we going to get over the past, and move forward? Anyone? I mean seriously, continuing to push this is just adding fuel to the fire, its not doing any good for racial relations in this country. I know plenty of people that are not white, that are very good people, and don't play into this history. They are very happy with their jobs, their fulfillment of the American dream, in their homes with their families. No different than any of their neighbors, no matter the color.
  3. LOL - WHAT??!!?? I needed a good laugh today, thanks.....
  4. HA - In my case they sit next to the lawn mower all summer, so they are a distraction with a rope that needs to be pulled! LOL
  5. A good friend is a builder, and he told me just last night at pool league, a sheet of plywood that was $8 a year ago is $42 now.
  6. I just run mine every 2-3 weeks all year round. Bring it to full operating temp, and make sure the rear cooler hoses are getting warm.
  7. Nobody you know. I thought it was a free society to respond to your good news, and provide my personal experience as to why Sconnie's employment rate is doing so well.
  8. I'm sure it had nothing to do with all the people flocking to WI from MN and IL - I certainly did my part over the last 12 months to stimulate their economy and keep employment up!
  9. You forgot the "Uses their brain in difficult situations"
  10. The climate is ALWAYS changing. So what is the temperature supposed to be?
  11. When I get asked where my mask is: "I'm sorry, I have a mental disorder.....I think for myself!"

There was another awards show on last night?
  13. 800+ on the old XCR, then 3320 on the new XCR before jackshaft bearing gave out (among other things) and then 500+ on the old XCR after a run back home mid trip. About 4760 total so far....
  14. Its just crazy to me, that we are pointing the blame on societal issues on the cops. Just think, if people weren't breaking the law, stealing, vandalizing, assaulting, what ever the crime, there would be no need for cops, right? This is where "they" are going. If we don't have crimes, we don't need cops. Problem is, people are still committing crimes. Street crimes, violent crimes, white collar crimes, it doesn't matter. So the solution is to defund the cops, thinking people will stop committing crimes? Or is it that if we stop reporting on crimes, and the crimes magically just go away? In a society with laws, you need some form of enforcement. Do we have bad cops, cops who lose their mind, cops who commit crimes? Yes we do, and we should hold them accountable. Just getting rid of the cops is not a viable solution - IMO.
  15. The police won't go in there, they don't have the resources to even do normal street patrols anymore. There are 911 calls that go completely unanswered in MPLS.
  16. Once again you have no fucking clue what you are talking about. Did you even look at the original vid?? Those two meeting the reporter at the jersey barriers are WHITE.
  17. Been this way since last summer. Snow plows were not allowed in. Police, fire, paramedics, all not allowed in. A local TV station interviewed an auto repair business last fall, they had to sneak in a back alley, rush their TV truck into the garage, and close the door behind them. Then, turn the truck around inside the garage, so when they left they can speed out the back alley before the people "in charge" caught wind of their presence. There was a murder in there last week, and the "residents" of the area drug the guy to the barricades and dropped him at the feet of the police, who were not allowed in. I read a story of one business owner, who renovated a building in the last 3-5 years, with 6 businesses, and 3 apartments, had them all filled and flourishing. Now only one business is left struggling, and the guy gets ZERO help from the city. Losing everything. Just goes to show how useless the mayor and the city council are.
  18. Haven't looked in a few months, but if you want to buy a house in south Minneapolis, prices were down 25%, and not moving. Maybe things have changed since the fall. Funny how a riot can do that to a huge sector of a big city....
  19. Let's be honest, we all would like to see consequences for this kind of behavior, if true, but NOTHING will come of it, unless there is undeniable video evidence that hasn't been deleted or bought.
  20. Well, at least you can support the dictator you like.
  21. Just like a dictator would - at least according to biden.
  22. Is there any wonder why he hasn't done a press conference yet? Nope. Will he ever do a press conference? I'm taking bets he won't. If he does, questions will be thoroughly laid out and answers practiced ahead of time.

It was just odd hearing it on a CBS show.
