  1. Lol I think they did away with any warnings and just banned people. I got no warnings or points just got banned for posting SPAM.
  2. Even the innocent post are getting guys banned https://www.hardcoresledder.com/threads/they-thought-i-was-spamming.1877630/
  3. Ran the numbers on the pond at 128.6 on my 2000 XCR 800 stock class. Locally sanctioned on radar.
  4. Did you contact Jim (Fastsledder)
  5. Yamaha for basically throwing in the towel on any development in snowmobiling.
  6. Check out this guy Dr Mario. He's primarily Polaris and actually makes cleated tracks for 60's and 70's Polaris sleds. I don't know if Polaris ever had a center drive but this guy may be able to help out. https://www.ebay.com/str/drmariosvintagepolaris https://www.facebook.com/Dr-Mario-Vintage-Polaris-Parts-381398125388699/ http://vintagepolarispart.com/?fbclid=IwAR2tu9auWiu6paZORT8PXpeLKp7f6vDUMrGVngfe21aM2JSQ9LwV2CRn1YQ
  7. I still have it active but was looking into disabling it.
  8. The silver looks good with sleds in the pic. Those are my winter tires and rims from a 2015 GMC
  9. We have one couple that are true Arctic Cat rides. When he went to buy a new sled from his normal dealer that is a multi-brand dealer it was his dealer that steered him away from Arctic Cat. He kept his turbo and has a new Ski-Doo for this year. I hope Arctic Cat stays around. Wouldn't be good for the sport to only have 2 manufacturers.
  10. My 2020 GMC 1500 pulls everything I want it to pull with a 5.3 but I have the HD trailer package with 3:42 gears. I haven't pulled our 4 place trailer with it as we haven't used it for a couple seasons yet. A 6.2 would pull better obviously. Friend of mine owns a body shop and when they work on a Ford aluminum box it a little different animal to work on to keep contamination away from the aluminum prepping and painting them. If it's not done right the paint will fall off. Guess the key here is don't damage the box. I'm sure both the Ford and GM trucks will work fine. Take dealer support also into consideration.
  11. If Cat has them. Worked on a real nice 95 Thundercat that needed fuel pumps. No rebuild kits available or fuel pumps. Any manufacture now most dealers don't want to work on older sleds and no parts available from the manufacturers.
  12. Yup. When its -25F but nice and sunny much prefer the groomer those days
  13. Kiekhaefer powered SKI-Doo?? In 1970 Carl Kiekhaefer broke away from Kiekhaefer Mercury and restarted Kiekhaefer Aeromarine Motors his original company. After failed attempts at building a successful snowmobile Carl turned his attention as being an engine supplier. He set his test bed on racing and built a 649CC F/A 3 cylinder mounted in 1971 Polaris TX chassis which won both oval and obstacle course events in the open non production class with engine sizes larger then 800CC. He later turned the lead design over to his son Fred to build a liquid cooled motor. Fred designed an inverted V-twin liquid cooled. They made the rounds of all the major manufactures with Ski-Doo showing the most interest because at that time they did not have a liquid cooled motor. In May of 1973 the papers were being drawn up with a closing date of July 1 1973. The problem was 1973 was a terrible snow year and after the year was over all the manufactures had extensive carryover inventory and Rotax had also come out with their own liquid cooled engine. It was agreed upon by both parties to back away from the deal. Fred Kiekhaefer still has 2 V-twin motors, one under a coffee table the other still mounted in its Chaparral test chassis.
  14. What was the question who's the last one to blow up a motor in this thread. That would be Z
  15. I heard they offered it to Joe but he failed the Snowmobile safety course.
  16. No need to answer the question. I'll leave that to the last guy to launch a motor in this conversation. Wow sledless and no pit jacket. Next you'll be voted out of the MADCATTER'S for not having a pit jacket.
  17. Hold on a minute he does have the pit jacket yet. No sled required then.
  18. I see your posting spam (HCS). That should be grounds for being ban. Maybe the admin can put a filter on so it defaults to FreedomSledder.
