MnDean replied to Crnr2Crnr's topic in HCS General Forum
But will Dumstad be there to answer any technical questions? Maybe he could give us some insider info from shipping receiving personal at Country Cat about the all new Catalyst and how the builds are coming along. -

Chinese surveillance balloon spotted over Montana.
MnDean replied to ActionfigureJoe's topic in Current Events
Did Canada even notice it flying over there air space? "The high-altitude balloon was spotted over Billings, Montana, on Wednesday. It flew over the Aleutian Islands, through Canada, and into Montana" -

Drilling through cast iron isn't much of a test, cast iron is real easy to drill , it has graphite in it makes it very machinable. To me those step drill bits look to difficult to sharpen

So, as it turns out, electric cars can go around corners. Heavily modified ones can even set lap records.

Last year I pulled the motor on my 800 to freshen it up. I decided to push the easy button and take to Indy specialty. Traded in my the old for a new engine, injectors, oil pump, fuel sock ect. I didn't run the billet head, put a stock 18 head and thermostat on it. I put maybe 150 miles on the new engine and bang it was done. You know your really fucked when you open the side panel and see bolts, chunks of aluminum, pieces of oil lines ect. The failure was a big mistory to Devin, the bearings looked good to him. They covered some of the cost for the repair, but none of the collateral damage, like reeds, intake boot, water pump cover, hoses ect.

For what it's worth, Dan doesn't own Indy specialty any more, he sold to his employee Devin. I was there the fall of last season getting picking up an engine.

How would person figure out how much power they are utilizing? With out some sort of data recording/ reading software. For me could I look at the miles vs hours, that might tell me something, if I had to make a guess I would say less than 40% Next time I start my sled I’m going to look at the hour and miles and see what the average MPH is.
