I think it shows the Right is a party willing to challenge supposed conservative ideals and disagree with each other. As opposed to the Left which will fall in line lock step with the mothership in order to retain their position in the party. Disagreement can look like chaos when you're used to being told what to do.

Shareholders demand YOY increases in revenue and margin. Executives are measured on delivering that growth through any number of levers. But without acquisitions that becomes harder and harder and in this space acquisitions are slow to mature and be profitable. The workers are right to ask for their compensation to increase ahead of the profit margin. And Management is missing an opportunity to give them the increase, reset shareholder expectation of growth/profitability and have a scapegoat for mediocre returns for the next 4-8 years.

I used to think our military and enforcement agencies would never train their guns on Citizens, but after watching the FBI, ATF, Homeland Security, and local militarized police forces gleefully take down their fellow Citizen in the name of "just doing my job" and afraid to push back, they'd shot no questions asked.
