  1. Never really paid much attention to him before but he reminds me of Frankie. They Must have shared a batch of the same bad washer fluid going around the rez

Snowing pretty heavy from hurley to mercer tonight when I came through. Lots of sleds out riding

  6. Forgot to add, I have a friend with a 17 xf 8000 cc, and a 15 xf 6000 cc and 2 11 f6 sp. He'd take the barney's any day over the procross for trail riding
  7. They're warm and comfortable, handle well and actually ride pretty good. Probly not the ideal UP Saturday afternoon sled but can handle moderately rough trails just fine. I xc raced 1 in 07 and the suspension was fine, the lack of transfer in the ditches on the big whoops was a problem, it's too planted for that kind of stuff
  8. You can ride the tricounty corridor and just turn off on any rd and go explore. If you're serious about checking it out I can pm some spots to park out in the forest. Don't want to put the honey holes out on the web though....
  9. You can ride 100s of miles in bayfield co and not be on the trails. The logging roads are perfect right now. Can even hit a few local places to eat and get fuel off the tri county corridor. I know iron county has a lot of logging rds too

  11. Sure it's not the best season but the winter isn't that bad. There's riding out west, northern mn, northern wi, the UP, northern LP, out east There's snow too. Just because people can't ride from home doesn't mean it sucks.
  12. I guess I don't understand why people are so against chasing the snow these days. I know it's expensive but if you buy a cheaper sled that leaves money for trips. No point in having the latest and greatest in the garage and no money to ride it. I'm lucky to be living in the 1 of the best places in wi for snow and can ride right from home, but It's not as much fun as the trips we used to take.
  13. I remember the same thing. Always trailered from mpls to bayfield co, iron range or north shore. Very rarely did I ride locally. In the late 90s early 2000s we'd go to iron river every new years weekend and several times there was no snow at all

  15. I've never used GAIA but I use onyx offroad all the time. It shows more detail on the logging rds and unmarked backtrails than ride command. Mostly used in northern wi and north shore of mn

  18. I prefer that they wear masks, it let's me know they're the kind of people I should avoid
  19. I'm looking on the bright side, hopefully someone comes along and buys cat and brings them back to what they should used to be
  20. Hey Jim, I've got a short rope and a tall chair if you need to borrow them.
