  1. Remarkably calm given the emotional strain that she must have been under.
  2. With the seemingly endless examples of cops getting off lightly or no consequences at all for killings, beatings, etc... I can't say I'm surprised by this.
  3. Evidently your sister is single.
  4. John Klofas was one of my professors at RIT. Smart guy too. And it's Dr. John Klofas.
  5. Well said. The police need to be held to the standard you or I would be held to.
  6. Trump is not the same old same old, but this is one time out of 40+ so my point still stands.
  7. You couldn't own me on this issue regardless of how hard you try. Your logic is flawed right from the gate. You vote the from the same pool of and year after year and yet you think I'm spectator. I vote who I think will do the best and I refuse to support those who I am certain will help themselves.
  8. Spectator? I completely disagree. You are the one spectating, IMO, by voting for the same old same old. I guess we'll have to agree that I'm right and your wrong.
  9. No primary for my party in NYS. When I was a registered Republican I voted in the primary.
  10. Are you stupid? You sound pretty stupid. What the hell does a fight have to do with any of this?
  11. MC is one of the most racist posters here. Ask him about Chinese people.
  12. Your post indicates that voting for the winner is what's important, regardless of whether you actually like the candidate. Thats a ridiculous notion and it's the mindset that allows asshats to get elected. Voting for someone who you don't entirely agree with but generally support is one thing. Voting for one moron because he slightly less of a moron than the other guy is asinine. Voting in the same crooked shitbag year after year while complaining about crooked politicians is equally asinine. You get the government you vote for, no way to escape it.
  13. As for a write in... It's better because voting for "your team" despite not liking your guy because the other team's guy is even worse is the kind of thinking that has gotten us into this mess. Voters are much to apathetic. They complain about the same old same old but continue to vote the same old into office. They hold all the power but don't weild it. We allow ourselves to get caught up in the my team vs your team mentality and take our information from sound bites and memes. This behavior completely mitigates our power of voting. Therefor it is my opinion that those who vote in the same old politicians every year are the ones who actually waste their vote, not me.
