This has to be the largest gathering of retards in the world...

Look at the state of the country. $750 billion a year military and we are not at war. Need a $50 billion dollar wall at our southern border. Billions of dollars a year in corporate subsidies. Billions of dollars a year in foreign aid. $22 trillion in debt.

It's absolutely amazing.

It's almost like people get high off of being completely ignorant or something...

Just want to argue for the sake of arguing. If Trump was saying what you are these guys would be marching in the streets with muskets. Especially the Canadians.

So $3.3 trillion in new spending per year is the answer?

Most thinking people realize there are only two ways things will go post capitalism.

1) a dystopian nightmare where humanity is enslaved to the 'market'

2) a horizontally organized society where everyone reaps the benefits of human technological progress

Wouldn't need to spend all that debt currency to prop up the economy if we didn't have 40 years of stagnant wages

Wouldn't need to either if we controlled spending.   Cut govt in half and give people back a bunch of taxes does virtually the same thing.

Funny how people like you complain about stagnant wages but never complain about the increased tax burden govt puts on the people year after year.

We cannot tax ourselves to long term prosperity.   Economics would be the easiest topic in the world if we could.

Jesus, it's like I'm dealing with a bunch of economic illiterates...

Aggregate demand is made up of two major components, wages and credit/debt.

If you stagnate or reduce one component without compensating by raising the other component, you end up with a net loss of demand. I think it's obvious how disastrous a severe reduction in aggregate demand could be

So all you dumbshits who advocate for reducing government spending in one breath, then say stagnant wages are no big deal in the next, are advocating for a deflationary death spiral that will result in economic disaster.

If you want to reduce the amount of debt and credit skewing and propping up the economy, then raising wages should be your #1 issue.

It's like no one actually understands economics, it's all fucking ideology.

The math doesn't give a fuck about your ideology...

Everyone is for reaping benefits, I'm simply asking how the reaping will be portioned.  Is it the case that all labor is valued the same?  Truely horizontal?
