"We have a great neighbour in Canada and Justin is doing a spectacular job in Canada,” Mr. Trump said as he began his remarks. “Everybody loves him and they love him for a reason. So congratulations on the job you are doing.”

If he was convicted in the US WTF is he doing out walking the streets of maple syrup land?

The US MUST quit the policy of treating wounded combatants.   Seems completely foolish to heal the ones we are trying to kill and are trying to kill our soldiers.   If they let the little goat fucker die none of this would be occurring.  They should have walked up to him and double tapped him in the chest or head.

From Wiki

Born in Canada, Khadr was taken to Afghanistan by his father, who was affiliated with Al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations. On July 27, 2002, at age 15, Khadr was severely wounded in a firefight between U.S. soldiers and Taliban fighters in the village of Ayub Kheyl, during which Khadr is alleged to have thrown the grenade that killed American Delta Force medic Sgt. Christopher Speer.[4] After being captured and detained at the Bagram Airfield, he was sent to the Guantanamo Bay detention camps in Cuba. During his detention, Khadr was interrogated by both Canadian and US intelligence officers.

The USA does lots of stupid things....like supplying all your enemies with arms for example.

He wasn't really convicted.

He faced a military tribunal and a confession obtained through tirture was used as evidence.  His "conviction" wouldn't hold up in a civil court in either the US or Canada.  There actually isn't any real evidence of him throwing the grenade.  The battlefield reports suggest it was the other person in the house that did it.

 unless you followed him around with a terrorist cam....it would be pretty tough to get evidence.

Yes.   Thankfully Trump put an end to a little bit of that just recently.   Got McCain's tumor going I see as well.
