ordered two registration stickers and trail passes today to the tune of $120 for two of four sleds.

did I just make another donation to the WI DNR or will I be able to rack up some miles this winter?

:dunno: but I'm sure someone might get more mileage out of this than me if mother nature and/or climate change fucks us again... 9_9

cue the tard in 3,  2,  1...

MN trail pass/registration is $111 for 3 years.  We now have larger trail stickers, but smaller then they used to be. The amount of vain fuckers on MNTR is retardedly high.  Your wrap looks

i don't recall which made me more nervous that one time, the lack of stickers on your sled or it overheating every 84 feet and you never leaving.  :roflcrying:

The 84 feet was the worst. I could trade the cops a cow I don’t own while waiting on the fire department to show up to get out of sticker violations. I have only been fined once in the last 15 years for no registration. I have got a speeding ticket pretty much every time I road in Minnesota. Most of them just care about the trail permit. I also cut the registration sticker down as small as possibly when I do actually put it on the sled which is rare.

There were enough people there that would have made that happen. Shortly after that was when i twisted the bulkhead. Should have taken their offer

ouch... maybe the trail pass for each state here (unless I'm incorrect) isn't the end of the world.  have never purchased a MI t.p. even out of desperation or necessity but afaik that's all the would be required with a sled registered in WI

'title' was figurative... there's no title in WI either but there may as well be as we have to pay taxes on the sale of them new/used and fill out a similar form as the WI DMV  9_9

wait, you have to take a safety course to ride VT as an adult licensed to drive a truck with a trailer behind it to go riding?  holy fuck...

sounds like you guys are getting the shaft...

absolutely do if you want to ride Vermont for my age. Yup I can drive a 26k pound wrecking ball down the road no problem but a sled on a trail without a safety course hold the fuck on no way haha.

Im perfectly fine with the reg fees here it goes to make the trails good so whatever if anything it’s a steal. I mean we paid over 600 each for seasons passes to the local ski mountain so 270 for couple states to ride sleds a bargain. It does look like we pay more from what you Midwest guys have posted though.

Every time I’ve ridden Vermont the trails blow. That’s around the woodford area mostly though I know the NEK is supposed to be a whole nother ball game.

you were born after 1983?

do you still have spots?  :lolz:

so I looked, and it appears WI doesn't trust anyone born after 1985 either... which I did not know.

Here in MN it's required for anyone born after December 31 1976.

Used to be separate but was combined a number of years ago.

The local DNR officer stopped by the cafe I frequent for a cup of coffee this morning.  I asked him about the new stickers being he is a sledder too.

He said he isn't giving warnings.  They are on your sled or it is a no display ticket or whatever he referred to it as.

I'm fine with that. I will be putting the néw stickers on 2 of mine when I bring them home from storage.

One option here if you're 16 you can do it online to get your snowmobile certificate. My wife did that option after we met.
