Trump was in St. Cloud, MN on Saturday, like 1/20th the size of the Atlanta metro area, and drew an estimated 25k.

A capacity crowd of 8,000 filled the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center, and hundreds took up standing-room-only space on what would be the ice sheet in the St. Cloud State University arena. Thousands more who couldn't get in watched the speech on a large screen outside the arena, cheering wildly when Trump called out to them multiple times

The estimate I saw from one of the local rags figures it was 25k between in the area, around the arena, and the roads between the airport and arena.

Either way.  Lets say it was 10k in total, maybe 12k.

He drew a yuge number of people from a much smaller populous compared to Hotlanta, and didn't need a free concert to do it.

I just figured I'd look it up because Trump is known for embellishment of crowd sizes.

I'm fairly certain I saw the number in a FB link to a local rag down there.

I personally don't give a damn myself, but Trump drawing even 10k in an outstate city compared to Kamala's 14k in Hotlanta with a free concert it was more impressive.

You got that right. Crowd sizes don't win elections as was proven in 2020.

Lil Tyrant Timmy here in MN will end up as the VP nod and we'll remain a solid blue stronghold.

Yeah.

Little Timmy has been trying his hardest to be noticed.

Why else would he be standing on the sidewalks of WI and MN protesting Trump during his visits?  Things are that great in your state you have time to go to WI to protest?  Fucking shame when half the state you run or more you aren't even welcome in.

Someone here called it within the last 6 months or so, his actions speak of a man that is greedy for more power, be it senator or VP or presidential run in the future.

gotcha

I see no strategic advantage of putting him on the national ticket though, based solely upon comments seen here.

from my limited perspective the PA governor (for example) makes more sense by carrying less political baggage and he's also from a battleground state.

if the DNC makes the mistake of going too hard left they will have no clear path to win the electoral college.  running as close to the center with a VP pick is imo the wiser decision.

He'd have heavy competition in the general forum here for that mission.

Timmy plays a centrist and a uniter well, until it is time to make the actions match the words.

That Kelly guy from AZ would be a good move too, but hopefully he is smart and just runs in 4 or 8 years instead, no need to dirty yourself playing second fiddle to Kamala.
