The 'dont like it? Leave!' line is so threadbare, simplistic, overwrought, and underthought.

Typical of double digit IQs...

Boy did that post really have you missing it's point.  Do you even read the posts anymore or just pick up on the key words you want and run off from there?

Our public education system doesn't teach children to be independent, critical thinkers. Nor does it teach the principles of freedom and government. It teaches them how to take tests. Your solution is one that was told to you by the media and all it does is take resources away from poorer kids and give them to wealthier districts.

why would it take from poor kids? every one gets a voucher to go where they want . poor kids can go where they want . with this system we can tax the state as a whole for school not by neighborhood . because kids can go any place flat percent of income not biased on property. yes not my idea but I still support it . and again poor kids mom can give up the direct TV and flip n a few more bucks and send there kid to a better privet . how is it diff than what the libs want to do with collage ? will we be building collages around every neighborhood so kids can go to the neighborhood collage ?

Sure they can go wherever they want... Unless they don't have the resources to get there. And don't think for a minute the people who live in the wealthier zip codes want a bunch of undesirables going to school with their kids. We tried that in Chicago and it failed miserably. The result was parents not sending their kids to school and riots. Next example?

Anything you fuckers DON'T fail at?

We have towns around here with primary and middle schools but no high schools. When they reach high school, the town offers them a choice to go to any school in the area, and will send their per pupil share of education funds with them.

Many go to regular high schools, many go to one of several, high end private schools. Odd.... for over so many years those schools, parents and students have no issues with POOR UNDESIRABLES.

One more reason the mid west sucks, I guess.

Face it. You're ideas require rewiring of the human brain and everything millions of years of, yes, EVOLUTION, has taught us to survive. You may as well be advocating cats give birth to dogs.
