Here's who you need to know at Bill Cosby's trial

The jurors have been deliberating since Monday.

Cosby is accused of drugging and violating Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in January 2004. Cosby's lawyers argued that the encounter was consensual.

Constand said Cosby gave her pills that made her paralyzed and unable to fight him off as he groped her breast and genitals. His lawyers said they were in a romantic relationship and what happened was consensual.

Background

WHAT WERE THE EXACT CHARGES?

Three counts of felony aggravated indecent assault, each covering a different aspect of the alleged crime.

Count 1 alleges that Cosby didn't have consent when he penetrated Constand's genitals with his fingers.

Count 2 alleges she was unconscious or semi-conscious at the time and could not give consent.

Count 3 alleges all this happened after he gave her an intoxicant that substantially impaired her and stopped her from resisting.

HOW MUCH TIME COULD HE FACE?

Each of the three counts carries a standard sentence range of 5 to 10 years in prison, but that doesn't mean Cosby could be facing up to 30 years.

Legal experts say the sentence for each count should run concurrently under Pennsylvania law since they all cover the same incident and conduct.

That means a conviction would put Cosby in prison at least until he is 84 years old, based on state sentencing guidelines.

WHAT'S THE WORST CASE SCENARIO FOR COSBY?

Pennsylvania law allows sentencing judges to consider uncharged conduct. In Cosby's case, that means the more than 60 other women who have accused him of assaults dating to the 1960s.

Duquesne University law professor Wes Oliver says those allegations could compel Judge Steven O'Neill to sentence Cosby closer to the 10-year maximum.

WOULD HE HAVE TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER?

Yes. Cosby would also have to register as a sex offender and face an assessment to determine if he is a sexually violent predator.

WILL COSBY BE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY RIGHT AWAY?

Cosby could remain free until sentencing unless O'Neill revokes his $1 million bail.

Philadelphia defense lawyer Alan Tauber says that's less likely in Cosby's case because his fame makes him an unlikely flight risk.

I have no idea if he's the creep he's being accused of being.  But I'll give him some props for openly came out about his race and the problems it continues to accept, own up to and work toward correcting.  If he wouldn't have done that, we'd see BLM protesting and rioting over his whole affair.  I have no idea if he is guilty or not, but I commend him for recognizing and speaking out about a problem.  I also find all this quite suspicious that these accusations are coming so late by his accusers.

Actually I dropped out years ago. Imagine if the kid goes to a HBCU? Shit, I went to the graduation ceremony for a predominantly black and hispanic CUNY location and like 3 of the 5 speakers openly jabbed at or denounced trump in their speeches. Chuck Schumer's speech was definitely the one that sealed the deal on the brainwashing, he didn't directly attack Trump when he spoke though.

I don't remember shaming anyone, maybe that's some dormant white guilt bubbling up inside you. Where are you getting the idea that it's in this downward spiral though? Some cities are getting worse, some are getting better, but overall I'd say it's chugging along at a steady pace. And how did it make you feel being in a ceremony for a minority collage that openly slams the president of the country that funds said minority collage? Why you dropped out is none of my business nor do I care, but I'm sure you weren't getting a full ride like the majority of the minority's were?
