Record export for the US

Sending our finite energy supply abroad at a record pace.  Fossil fuel companies always have American’s best interest in mind with their decisions.  We must not be able to use all they harvest domestically.

Almost 1.5 billion Barrels of oil exported from US last year.  Very impressive what the oil companies have been able to accomplish over the last few years.  Record profits, record exports, record amount of drilling activity and etc etc

Presidents have little to no affect on oil prices as they aren’t government controlled entities in the US.  Definetly no shortage of new drilling in US currently and in the past few years

are you sure?

:sarcasm1:

it's truly amazing and at times quite shocking how many people of either political persuasion believe they do

none of them follow WTI or Brent though... or have the slightest inclination of how global commodities work in the big picture.   they don't have the slightest clue regarding the price between a barrel of 'oil' and the price at the pump.   right @Pete :roflcrying:

Many don’t understand how globally traded commodities and private companies work.  We are making do much oil now that we can use it all and are export 1.5 billion barrels a year from the US shores and that number will easily increase.  If we make more then we need in the US prices should be way down if presidents of the US have control over oil.  Oil is 100% controlled by private and for profit companies.

EVs are pretty badass for the most part.  So are ICE cars.  We are in the golden age of performance vehicles.

No problem with them at all. Just don't tell me I have to own one if I don't want to own one.

Biden doesn’t know which way is up, let alone policy decades down the road.

Trump has zero interest in my concerns, he only thinks about himself.  He’s lied about campaign promises last time so there is zero reason to believe anything he says now.

That's what the goal is. Better get out of that bubble you are living in. Biden just spilled it last week on the electric car mandate.

The EPA’s new tailpipe emissions rule is a plan to eliminate gas-powered cars

The Biden administration is doubling down on its rush-to-green agenda that forces Americans to drive unaffordable, less reliable electric vehicles. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) final rule for its tailpipe emissions standard—which mandates that two-thirds of all new vehicles be electric by 2032—only benefits the Chinese Communist Party. As Chairs Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) and Buddy Carter (R-GA) said, President Biden should abandon his radical agenda and let Americans choose what vehicle best suits their needs.
