As a public employee I signed a contract indicating that I would be terminated for being political while representing the county or state as an employee.

Now if only all these alphabet agencies had to sign something like that :news:

You’re just making shit up now.

Keep believing that.

“It was a political stunt for the city to have the AG there. When it backfired, they sent their fascist pit bulls after guys for exercising their First Amendment rights,” he said. “Most were off-duty and not in FDNY uniform.”

Like I've said before, you'd make a great Nazi bootlicker.

You were there? It said over 60 were uniformed.

Who would know more about constitutional right, Stupid Stheve or

So it doesn't even matter if they were in uniform.

“Firefighters have an absolute constitutional right to boo the attorney general, and the government  has no power to punish them for it,” Dershowitz told The Post. “So efforts to get the names of the booers is an effort by the government to chill free speech and is unconstitutional.”

Well AFJ has never been right once, nor you.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

  1. Firehouses are considered non-partisan workplaces, and overt displays of political affiliation or campaigning are typically prohibited on FDNY premises or when in uniform.
  2. The FDNY regulations prohibit firefighters from engaging in political activities while on duty that could raise questions about their impartiality in carrying out their official responsibilities.
  3. However, firefighters maintain their First Amendment rights as private citizens. Off-duty, out of uniform, they can participate in political activities and express political views.
  4. Unions representing firefighters may engage in some political advocacy related to employment issues, but individual members are still expected to remain apolitical when acting in their official firefighter capacity.
  5. The rationale is to maintain public trust in the professionalism and non-partisanship of the FDNY when responding to emergencies and providing services to all New Yorkers regardless of political affiliation.

If they were not in uniform then this is absurd.

If wearing the uniform, they deserve some type of penalty.

I see uniforms….

One has a duty to show respect and decorum, in that setting, while wearing a uniform, period.

I would have loved to flip off many CO's and politicians at ceremonies, parades and in the field,

Childish babies these people are.

Wait until the time and setting is appropriate.
