Biden softened the path to legal status, he temporarily removed the wait in mexico but switched back, expanded the family green card capability and such but has arrested something like 3 times the number of people crossing. Both released similar percentages. ie, Trump didn't fix shit on the border. Biden definitely softened some things but they are unrelated to your problems with the border. Both were bandaids as well.
