Got my hands on a 24 Polaris 600 Cross Country today. That sled is built to WIN. If I was just starting out, no way would I buy a RXC and probably not a XRS Comp Package either.

  • he does not

  • Because they are going to call you up and tell you that they had problems...

FYI, Sport Improved winner was on like a 1999 or 2000 XC600.

Made it up to the lake today to pollute the area.  Not a lot of crash carnage, but the ice was hard on stuff today.

did you get stopped at the toll booth by a guy with three fingers wearing a Coors Light box on his head?

How much did they payout at this little cosplay event? Anywhere near $85,000 for 1st?

Herf was running 3rd until a clutch belt failure on his mod procross. Clearly the Cats are down on speed regardless of chassis.

Unrelated, but the photos do show durability confidence in the belt final drive...

fairly certain his mod is still a SX chassis with a chain case and the failures which have occurred weren't the actual belt.  the mod Poo's are fast, see the Bunke vid

Yes the procross based sleds are all chaincase to my knowledge, I was simply pointing out their observation that they've never had a final drive belt fail.

I watched the Bunke vid the other day...very impressive speed. They also burned it down last weekend:lolz:

What else did you expect a sponsored racer to say? That’s like expecting one of the influencers you worship bad mouthing the company that provides them with discounted products.

Had Cat actually entered the the Iron Dog and completed the race than I’d have some faith in their system. But they didn’t and the lower 48 had no snow so people didn’t put enough miles on the 600’s to show if they are reliable or not. I don’t know a single person that bought Cataylist 600 trail sled this year.

that's a good start... maybe the SX guys shared some secrets on how to go faster riding in slop?

WTF? Why don’t they just run the events? It didn’t stop Sioux Falls or ERX.

Yeah... but what else could they do?

Maybe we'll get all our snow in April/May/June this year just to fuck with the farmers.  :dunno:
