I’ve read that as well but it’s also rumored that Dinger wants out of the Cup grind now that he has a newborn at home so his ride might be open as well.

Dinger was content with full Xfinity schedule and a part time cup but Kaulig talked him into the full cup ride last year.

UPDATE 2: NASCAR national series driver Noah Gragson has filed an entry for Saturday’s ASA STARS National Tour Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway. Gragson will team up with Rette Jones Racing, co-owned by Terry Jones, a former ARCA Late Model Sportsman champion at Toledo Speedway, along with 2009 ARCA Menards Series championship crew chief Mark Rette.

Can't quite figure Gragson's background.  Keep on hearing he comes with money backing him.  His dad Scott Gragson is currently in jail/prison for a fatal crash and is paying a 21 million dollars in a settlement.

Both Bristol races will be on the concrete next year….no dirt.

I'd like to see one on dirt, but a different venue, a dedicated dirt track a bit longer

I'd guess that will mean no dirt on Bristol at all next year.

That really leaves 2 options in the US - Eldora and Knoxville.

Eldora wins out based on parking and seating if it comes down to it.

I can't think of any other tracks that would really stack up to a NASCAR event.

Maybe I-94 here in MN, but it would still take a lot of upgrades.

I would settle with tossing some dirt over Richmond, 3/4mi, D shaped for some good racing with some higher speeds..

It's run its course I think. Probably a good idea.

Maybe in Cup cars, but true dirt cars are not built to take hits at those speeds.

Until NASCAR is willing to make some major changes, they'll always fail at running cars on dirt.

IMO, here is what they need to do:

-Commit to dirt racing in the long term (5+ years)
-Race dirt more then once a year, 4-5-6 races a year
-Have the teams build dirt specific and style cars.  Make them like a IMCA Stock Car with a Cup body.  I mean true dirt style cars, not a half-assed warmed over Cup chassis (I think this is the big one)
-Race dirt tracks as often as possible.  Yes, they will have to invest money in some facilities, but it will be peanuts compared to building new tracks.

100%

The cars are not a dirt car and just don't put on a good show.

Nope.  Maybe raced there back when we lived in PA, but not sure anymore.

Goodyear knows how to make a dirt car tire from back in the DTRA days.

A no points race and put them into in modified or late model on dirt would be great.

Xfinity Race was really good last night…Dale Jr. led 47 laps and was in contention for the win when a fire inside his car put him out of the race but as an owner he got the win thanks to Justin Allgaier.👊🏻🇺🇸

Dale still has it even though he was the oldest guy in the field at 48.

He spent some money on cars last night too with the 1, 8 and 9 cars all getting collected at once.

I saw that Lajoie qualified well. That team has been getting better each week. Hopefully they can put together a good race tonight.

And his team just bought another charter….

BREAKING: Spire Motorsports has purchased Live Fast Motorsports’ charter for around $40 million.
