Even heard George Stephanopolis quote this poll Sunday morning.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-23/despite-historically-low-approval-ratings-only-2-trump-voters-regret-their-decision

Among Americans who say they voted in the 2016 election, 46 percent say they voted for Hillary Clinton and 43 percent for Trump, very close to the 2-point margin in the actual popular vote results. However, while Trump would retain almost all of his support if the election were held again today (96 percent), fewer of Clinton's supporters say they’d stick with her (85 percent), producing a 40-43 percent Clinton-Trump result in this hypothetical re-do among self-reported 2016 voters.

If Trump ran against anyone at all aside from Hillary he would lose every single state. That should tell you something about Trump and Hillary and why they were our choices

Trump would have beat Sanders as the minority vote would have stayed home in large numbers.

Yeah.  Saw this report this weekend.  I wonder if Dems are taking any notice (yet).  Sure doesn't appear that way.

Oh, it could've always been worse.  But we'll never know.  Although, it's hard to believe the Dems could have found anybody worse than Hillary.  I even think Pelosi would have done better.  And OH BOY!  And remember, yhe "R's sure as fuck didn't pick Trump.  The citizens did and much to a lot of the chagrin of the establishment R's.  But, they let democracy rule.  The Dems, however, went another way.

Yeah I'm sure they were much more motivated voting for a 70 year old rich white woman compared to a 78 year old white dude.

You are giving the Dem party way too much credit.  I mean WAYYYYYY too much.  They've been a train wreck since they've been overdosing on their own kool-aid about 4-5 years ago flowing heavily into their cups by the media.

Sanders was still a white Jewish man in the eyes of many minorities.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/bernie-sanders-was-on-the-2016-ballotand-he-underperformed_us_5852fbbce4b06ae7ec2a3cb7

Of course, this narrative ignores the facts—that despite Clinton’s supposed flaws, she easily defeated Sanders in the primary via the pledged delegate count, that Sanders inability to convince minority voters doomed his campaign for the nomination, and that the attempt to use superdelegates to override the popular vote was an undemocratic power grab.

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/22/business/economy/why-sanders-trails-clinton-among-minority-voters.html?_r=0

Asked during a January debate why he trailed Hillary Clinton so badly among minority voters, Senator Bernie Sanders said he would gain ground once those voters became familiar with his track record and agenda on the economy and criminal justice.

Two months later and on the eve of another important primary voting day, Mr. Sanders remains on the wrong side of a yawning gap among African-Americans even as his performance among whites has been impressive.

One important reason for this may be that African-Americans have experienced somewhat more favorable economic trends in recent years. While still worse off than whites, African-Americans have seen their jobless rate fall a little further than whites have, relative to a prerecession average. Furthermore, the decline has been faster for African-Americans in the last year.

The economist Robert J. Shapiro recently measured the income growth that people experience as they age. He found that, on average in 2013 and 2014 (the most recent data available), incomes for blacks in their 30s, 40s and 50s grew more rapidly than for whites in the same age group. Older people, who strongly support Mrs. Clinton, have also seen income gains relative to other groups since the recession.

Well you are citing "polls" and pretty much all of them showed Sanders beating Trump. Sanders resonated far better with minorities than Hillary did and his crowds were every bit as big as Trump's. Hillary had no crowds. Plus Bernie wasn't a narcissistic asshole like Trump is.

   Not according to primary voting.  Clinton won 76% to 23%.   Huge difference.

Bernie would have crushed Trump .....Trump is a fucking cartoon character. A fucking sideshow clown. Bernie was at least a serious candidate with real solutions to actual problems. Some of which I agreed with and some I didnt.

Don't look at the polls look at the minority results of the primary.   Sanders was severely lacking minority support.
