They had a hell of a time selling those cars, first American car to hit 200 MPH, putting on a nosecone and a air dam on them made the Superbird and Daytona to this day one of the most aerodynamic cars ever built.

I can only imagine what it was like doing 200 mph in a late 60's race car. The tires, suspensions, brakes compared to today must be extreme.

I was referring to the cars not selling. 

At the time those cars had the lowest drag coefficient that were allowed to compete in Nascar.

No I didn't, it's actually not that important to me.

However Buddy Baker did avg 200 mph in one at Talladega with shit tires and suspension in 1970.
