Woodchucks

Besides the trusty rifle that I can't use in an urban setting, what works to get rid of them?

I have a couple live traps, and some leg traps that haven't netted the bastages yet.... Haven't seen any in over 8 years, and suddenly this year we have FAMILIES of them.  Yes, local development has pushed them into my 10 acres damnit!

Chipmunks, squirrels, woodchucks, raccoons, skunks and coyotes. My backyard seems to have a little bit everything.

Endless supply of food!

I use peanut butter in my detached garage for the mice I catch a ton.

Ill grab some rat traps and try some around the house then for the munks 👍

How has the trapping gone?

I’ve caught 2 woodchucks, but I think the road got the big one and one other small one…. They were laying on the side of the highway a few weeks ago.

Just saw our first chippy of the season…. Rat traps went out this morning!

Had a weasel run by me last week. First time we had one here. Not many rodents around now and haven’t  seen a chuck for over a week.

I don't know how I didn't see this earlier.  Some time and one of these works wonders.  I don't have alot of time so I let me neighbor up the road borrow it.  Easy peasy.
