He gets put in a car that should be inferior to the Silver Arrows and he qualifies and runs in the front part of mid-pack. Bottas is a great driver and in an equal car was regularly on the box, same with Perez. If not for a shit tire strategy I believe Bottas would have been nipping Sainzs and Russell's ass at the end.
