I'm looking forward to the race weekend. It's nice to see F1 finally getting some traction in the US.

Agree, and it's nice to see consistent coverage of it.  The Netflix series helped get more people interested.

The big shocker to me this year is how much better Haas is running.  Well, at least Magnussen has been quick.

The white Ferrari's are doing great.  😉

Looking forward to the race today.

It's going to be an interesting turn 1 at the start. I'm sure that there will be a safety car on the track at least once today.

Yup. It is good to see red across the front row again though

The Haas cars were quick in the 3rd practice, but couldn't back it up in qualifying.

I need to pay more attention to F1 but has Mercedes struggled all season?

Yes! Lewis even more so than his new teammate for the most part.

Is it just me, or is anyone else a little surprised at how well Bottas is doing this year?

He gets put in a car that should be inferior to the Silver Arrows and he qualifies and runs in the front part of mid-pack.

Lewey gets a car that doesn't exactly fit his driving style and not only gets out performed by his new teammate, his performance really isn't that much better then Bottas.

Bottas is a great driver and in an equal car was regularly on the box, same with Perez. If not for a shit tire strategy I believe Bottas would have been nipping Sainzs and Russell's ass at the end.
