Should personal business be reason to drop charges in criminal or civil cases?

Recommended Posts

So this guy here in MN named Cortez Rice wants his charges dropped and/or be released because his teenage son was shot and killed yesterday.

He is charged with felony harassment of Judge Regina Chu.

Regina Chu is the judge who presided over the Kim Potter trial.

Cortez is a "well known" "activist" in the Twin Shitties and stood outside a door he believed to be Judge Chu's and waited "for the gang to get up here."

Oh yeah, he live-streamed it...

Should charges be dropped due to shit happening in someone's personal life?

His supporters certainly think so.

He did get his charges dropped, but still gets to sit in the cooler until March for other previous crimes.

And a brief side note, the MN National Guard has once again been activated by Timmy, but it is too cold to riot out.  Best start a few cars and businesses on fire to keep warm.
