Nice older overpriced sleds

Recommended Posts

The minty Mach was in Antigo Yamaha/Doo/Polaris yesterday, the speedo basically had zero miles on it.  Don't know the whole story or price as the salesmen was busy.  Very nice though.

The VMAX was trailside and even though it has 5k miles it was extremely clean.  $2500

So much old metal hitting the market now with the price point for sleds hitting luidicris levels.  You can almost smell the armour all thorugh the pics.

Still, no thanks.

No shit. Garages getting cleaned out of sleds that haven’t been ridden in a decade because the prices are good.

You smell armor all. I smell varnished gas.

Yuh...most won't end up with the sled in the ad.  They'll end up with a fucking project and dump it for half the price in a year when reality sets back in.

“Runs but carbs could use a cleaning” means, I got it started with a half of a can of ether, it will idle and that’s it.

there's that speedometer cover @Zambroski  ;)

I like the screen but honestly, the PC plastic looks better to me.

IF, you can get the engine up to clutch engagement speed, the primary will probably stick anyway.

There's a seat for every ass and an ass for every seat.  I don't see the seat on these older sleds or my ass fitting either.  Like I said, I can appreciate them but, just have little to no interest in them whether restoring, maintaining or riding.

There are a few older ones I’d like to have but then I think, I’d never ride them, so what’s the point? Hence why I don’t have any.

I think they wanted like 4500 bucks for that Mach. I stopped in their to get some oil right before Christmas

What's the story with it?

Pretty sure there's zero miles on the odometer.
