I don't either tbh. I was talking to my sister the other day & she claims climate change is real, ice caps melting etc. I didn't have any good reply - as I'm not knowledgeable on the subject. I looked quick - but hard to find good answers, as every thing is so politicized it seems.

Numerous times the alarmists have used Florida as an example but of course they never tell you Florida is actually sinking. I get that, and not saying you should, but before anyone, not just you, jumps on board advocating, agreeing or believing the movement, they should do their own research first as the media, the Liberal gov't and all those that push the agenda/narrative, are lying to you or have been brainwashed into believing it themselves.

The things is, there are so many fake news sites out there pushing this that you can practically find anything that looks like it came from real scientists or legit sources. People see these and believe them. It makes me mad that they have brainwashed so many children into believing this scam that many are fighting with anxiety, depression with some committing suicide thinking they only have 8 to 12 yrs to live.

As you said yourself, you can find someone on the internet to say that the sky is yellow even though most see it as blue. it’s actually very difficult to determine. And it’s not whether they’re rising because they are, but it’s a very minuscule amount. Like a 1/2mm per year or something. This has been going on since the end of the younger dryas 

the question is whether we’re accelerating it. Which is very difficult to determine. For one because they’re rising so slowly, and also because most land masses themselves are either sinking or rising. So they have to split a hair that’s already split and then split that to determine if we are accelerating it

In my opinion, it is real easy to debunk the narrative simply by looking at previous history books, studies and weather patterns throughout the centuries. Like my meme above, they, the alarmists, told us CO2 is bad but that is easily debunked by knowing a little bit about plant life and what they need to live and flourish.

I appreciate your lengthy reply. I'm not disputing what you are saying. I've said all along that our climate has been warming since the last ice age. But I also believe that we COULD be slightly contributing to that warming. I'm a weather so I look at some of it like this.  One only has to look at the warmer climates in a city versus the cooler temps just outside of the city limits. Before the city was there the temps between those two locations would have been much more similar than today. We contributed to that warming. Agree, or disagree?

Comparing city temps with rural temps is silly as cities, with all the concrete, steel and asphalt, let alone the citizens, is going to be warmer as heat retention is a lot greater.

As for the cities, you proved my point. We contributed to the warming because of how WE built the cities. I have no idea how that effects the entire planet. But we did contribute to the temperature rising in Boston over the last couple of hundred years. That's all that I was trying to point out.
