Running it on the road course...hmmm....should be on the speedway IMO.

Good to see them using the road course for the race...should make it a little more interesting.

I agree. Daytona is about the speedway, not the road course.

No. shitty idea. I'm barely interested in watching it now. And I love road course.

 

Nascar has ruined so many traditions of the sport in an attempt to find a new audience that they have alienated their long time fans. Somethings I can agree with but this I can not.

I couldn't care less about the clash usually...ill make a point to watch it because it's on the road course.....its a meaningless race.....if they did it to the qualifying twins I'd agree with you.

A little more so for the 500 than the summer race as handling isn't as important during the cooler temps that we generally see in February.
