Earnhardt wanted so bad to get the pole but Rick Mast won it with Sr second. Sr tried so hard to lead the first lap that he hit the wall coming out of the fourth turn. Geoff and Brett Bodine both had winning cars but took each other out. In the end it was local hero Jeff Gordon winning.AJ Foyt came out of retirement to race. Huge crowd. Linda Vaughn, Miss Hurst Golden Shifter climbing over the pit wall. Muscle cars and Linda in the late 60's, every teenage males dream. Fords have the best all around aero packages but down on h.p , compared to the Toyotas. The spread on brand h.p. is 4 or less across the board. Hendrick was trying a new wiz bang oiling system for a edge , it didn't work. Ford has been testing the living shit out of the 2019 cup Mustang out of America , people are saying that car has a aero advantage to others.
