We have IMCA, WISSOTA, USRA, USMTS and even some UMP.  The sanctioning bodies are usually not the problem, and the biggest weekly car counts tend to be at IMCA sanctioned tracks.

I just find the imca cars are like watching paint dry...jmo

Theres nothing like big or sm block modifieds....and then theres 410 sprints.

I'd say criticize IMCA at your own peril.  They are the largest dirt sanctioning body in the US and I think Canada too, and at least appear to be trying to keep racing a little more affordable then the rest.  The late model guys are finding that out right now.

Never been to a track that ran imca in Canada.

So not real familiar with some of these sanctioning bodies...IMCA is all dirt correct?

Are they the  sanctioning body for a track like Eldora?

Yes, as far as I know, I think NASCAR is about the only one that sanctions races on dirt and pavement.  Edit, USAC does too, and I'm sure some of the other open wheel sanctioning bodies do as well.

Eldora is DIRTcar, which is World Racer's Group.

Starting to get a handle on this stuff...I just figured out what a 410 Sprint Car is...knew it when I saw it just didn't realize what it was called.

Donnie Schatz  just won another Kings Royal at Eldora in a 410.
