They have 14 nuclear subs we have 70. The only small advantage they may have is number of ships however ours is far superior in almost every other measurement. Pretty sure our own military likes to overrate them so we will just spend more. EX CIA guy talked about this on Joe Rogan's podcast not long ago. China's threat is not yet military. It would be their ability to attack our infrastructure and communications network (cyber warfare). I suspect that after the next winter olympics, you'll see him dramatically ratchet up the international pressure. They own the means of production for the vast majority of 21st century tech and can easily control the world's access to silicon-based tech in the future. They have a vision, direction, strategy, and fervent national pride (the average Chinese citizen will tell you things like Tiananmen never happened). We spend our days arguing about whether a 14 year old kid can chop his dick off without telling his parents and indoctrinating our kids about how America is a racist, disgusting, shameful place.
