Is the fraction of the population of california in poverty.  It has the highest true poverty rate in the nation...  so much for liberal policies....  they will put you in poverty

California has the largest percent of people in poverty in the nation. Larger percent of cali people in poverty compared to even the southern states.  Almost a 1/4 of children in california live in poverty.

I have been to California numerous times and have found the natives pretty fucking deplorable (for the most part). I could never live there. My wife used to live there and has numerous friends all over the state. Even they annoy the hell out of me.
