But it does make sense that if there are fewer and fewer ICE vehicles on the road the less and less availability of petrol stations everywhere. It would work in an area like where I ride but places like Quebec and the Yoop probably would be screwed unless you can pack a bunch of spare batteries. I swapped out mine on the assault and the new battery weighs 1.6 lbs(shaved 10 lbs off) When you hold it you cant even believe its going to work. Those are supposedly good to -20 so maybe I try that next. Electric will easily surpass a two stroke with reliable performance... good thing is your maintenance will go to almost zero.... ride them and put them away without all the work to get them ready to put away. And then not have the work of getting them ready for the season. Maybe besides a few grease points and bearings on the skid.. Wouldn't make any sense with how they can control electric motor speed thru a controller. I can see a gearcase or belt drive system just for the need of where to place the electric motor.
