it is amazing that we won't send kids to school and reopen workplaces when the spread in the businesses that are opened are not really an issue.  We just pushed back reopening till jan but in our case everyone is still working at least.

Where do you live? What is the scientific reasoning behind not sending kids to school?

We had one case of covid in our 100+ employee shop more than two months ago. Shut the place down for 3 days had a company come in and clean. Quarantine the department of about ten who directly worked with employee for two weeks. Other than that been open every day.

NH.  there is no scientific reasoning.  they decided to go in with a 2 day in person 3 day online suystem splitting the kids into the M/tues or Thursday/Fri group then "cleaning" weds.  it is silly.   All these kids should be back full time but all the schools seem to have the blend.  Only positive is  It's making my wife money caring for kids who should be in school but need someone to do the online while they work

My daughter who goes to college in OH has no in person classes so it's not just around here they are stupid.

Not saying you're wrong JT but if I recall Amazon has some pretty impressive protocols in place for dealing with this and Whole Foods probably does too since they are owned by Amazon now? :dunno:
