DreadHead Cowboy

The "Dread Head Cowboy" Adam Hollingsworth galloped one of his horses, "NuNu," seven miles on concrete on a Chicago freeway at rush hour. During his "protest," which he streamed on Facebook Live, Hollingsworth whipped the horse several times to force it to keep galloping. Police attempted to stop him several times, but he refused. The horse will never ride again and may need to be euthanized, Assistant State’s Attorney Kevin Deboni said.
Authorities found the horse collapsed on the pavement Monday, overheated, dehydrated, bleeding from the hooves, suffering from severe saddle sores, and with eyes so dilated they resembled “cartoon eyes.” In addition to animal cruelty Hollingsworth has also been charged with several misdemeanors: reckless conduct, disobeying a police officer, obstructing traffic and criminal trespass to state supported property. #horselivesmatter
Note: forcing a horse to run on hard surfaces like concrete for prolonged periods, especially when they aren't used to it, can result in "road founder," which simply means laminitis, or founder, brought on by trauma.

Yeah he fucked up afternoon traffic so everyone was pissed about that. I didnt know the horse was injured from it tho. Youd think a "cowboy" would know better...

Probably because it would make him look pretty shitty, getting charged with animal cruelty while protesting violence.
