Stay at Home isolation orders were implemented. Airport screening procedures for every single incoming passenger were implemented. Everyone thought the Mayor of Anc and the Gov were insane. Today alaska has 331 cases and 9 total deaths. Very few new cases daily and no deaths in 4 days. Alaska has performed almost 20,000 CV tests. 98% of them negative. Anchorage is a city nearing the end of winter with a population of about 425k with the surrounding burbs. How did they get a handle on this so quickly. I think the quick response by our Democrat Mayor and Republican Gov had a huge affect on the spread.
