Trump will be able to blame some of the correction on a potential President Bernie and his socialist policies.

They're not going to tank the market until they can definitely blame it on Bernie, aka after the election... Same way they kept the market artificially low until Trump got in.

Elections always make markets nervous but Hillary would have been good for walls street, she took enough of their money.

@f7ben so serious question...did you still have your short positions in place?  If so, good for you, although it would have been hard to weather on the way up.    It certainly removes a bullet from Trumps reelection gun.  But at this point probably doesn't change any minds.  Now if we start seeing job losses different story.

I bailed too early this week and only caught about half of potential gains

Obama was plenty cozy with Wall Street, that didn't stop them from sandbagging the market for the last few years of his term.

They did well, but they underperformed compared to the rest of the economy during the recovery and subsequent years. Then, boom, they magically began over performing  in comparison to other economic factors when Trump got in.

Actually many stocks, if not most stocks were a true "better value" given the lack of debt, and profits relative to the stock price, especially when you compare tax burden for the companies then and now.

Well , Analer is one of the only people here who’s brain actually works. You wouldn’t understand

My brain is very regarded. I would agree you predicted the market falling. How ever, the market always goes up and down. Can you tell me when the market is going to go back up? I will give you a 60 day cushion?

I can’t tell you a thing. It was just obvious to anyone who knows the markets we were in massively overbought territory and we were spurred there by QE and not fundamentals.
