Guest Posted February 7, 2020 Share Posted February 7, 2020 Machznot-Man of Steel Here's my Lincoln 225 - worth its weight in gold Original latch hardware all broke on my utility trailer from Guelph, Ontario. Company went into receivership, could not get parts. Ordered latches on-line, but I could not pirate the parts, so I just welded the new brackets to the old brackets. Only drawback was the gate is tilted slightly forward, when locked-up. I could care less, it's strong as a fuck, and the latches work beautifully. Bracket that I fabricated for my Cub Cadet. Not available from Cub Cadet, part of the mower deck, which costs almost $400.00!!!! Took me about 5-10- minutes to cut and weld it. Pounded mercilessly for about 3-4 years, still hangin' on.
