Just think, we had a horrible spring in the Midwest, and yet nationally our corn numbers are going to be almost exactly what 2015 numbers were, and 2013 for beans.

Ration grain?  This Paul guy sounds like a chicken little screamer to rally prices for his own personal gain.

Every local guy I've talked to said this year was close to or better than last year which was record for most.   They weren't expecting it but its been fantastic.   The lower quality fields (sandy, loamy) really excelling because of the wet summer.

Mind you they are having to dry down much more than normal as well.   Pretty bad shortage of gas.

I don’t know much about it. I know a couple guys who post here are farmers. I was curious what they had to say about it.

And we are set to export 52,000,000+ MT of corn this year, some 5,000,000 tons more than 2015.

If next year has a normal spring our numbers will most likely be record breaking again.

Something else to think about.

Corn acres were down about -1% from 2018, soybeans -15%, prevent plant acres went up some 900+%.

If next year our prevent plant acres goes back to 1.8-2m acres (2018 levels) we will have by far the most acres ever planted for corn and beans.

To me it looks like we may have crop glut next year and continued low crop prices.

Yep.   We simply are producing more than there is a market for.   Between farmers planting every square foot they can to genetics producing amazing numbers even in poorer weather years.  Plenty of CRP has come out around me......well the little that was left.

That's new tractor payment.  Thanks for your hard work!

Don't thank me. I pay taxes on the numbers I give my accountanmt. No matter how fictional they may be.
