02sled
Remember the tirade Fail had about us / me not supporting farmers for their exports to India and it being a reason his bromance hero Trudope was making this trip. I asked Fail to provide one tidibit of information to support that as the reason for the trip. He couldn't and didn't. Now that the trip is over and Trudope is being challenged on his BS trip there is a reference to the plight of the farmers. Scheer was quick to note that while Trudeau brought along several cabinet ministers, Agriculture Minister Lawrence MacAulay is not part of the delegation. Tories say they wanted MacAulay there to discuss import taxes India slapped on chickpeas and lentils before Christmas and raised earlier this month. You'd think that if a purpose of the trip was the plight of those farmers the Minister of Agriculture would be there for sure. Seems the Minister of Agriculture was of lesser importance for the trip than a backbench MP from BC who happens to wear a turban and hasn't any real impact to the trip other than BS optics. Then those optics get totally screwed by inviting a convicted criminal who tried to murder a visiting Indian Minister on Canadian soil. Then in question period yesterday.... Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale shut down allegations of a conspiracy theory, saying they are "absolutely and utterly false." "All Canadians can be assured that our police and our security agencies have done their job in relation to this visit," Mr. Goodale said. Sure sounds like our police and security agencies are incompetent if they "have done their job" yet still let a criminal convicted of attempted murder attend the dinner. You claimed the plight of the farmers was part of why Trudope was going to India and I challenged that. You couldn't support it other than your delusional imagination. The farmers are so important to your lover that he left the Agriculture Minister at home in Canada rather than take him so he could have a face to face with the Indian Agriculture Minister. What I have suggested is that the much more pressing concern is NAFTA. Everything has varying levels of priority don't you agree. It would take someone as delusional as yourself not to understand that the current focus should be trade with the U.S. After all we are each other's number one trading partners. So nope... I didn't. But you can't even remember what you say so to expect you to remember what others say would be a huge stretch

If you have a finite number of people you can hire that means you displace one man to hire one woman. Not sure how that makes your business better but Trudope is convinced it is the key to corporate prosperity.
ArcticCrusher
Sunny ways? Quote For starters, the budget document itself makes clear that the relatively strong economic growth of 3.0 per cent in 2017 was a blip, and that growth is expected to fall to 2.2 per cent in 2018 and 1.6 per cent in 2019. In fact, the Department of Finance forecasts economic growth will average just 1.8 per cent for the next four decades — compared to the much higher average growth of 2.7 per cent over the previous four decades. Meanwhile, other industrialized countries are expected to enjoy stronger economic growth in the years ahead, making Canada a laggard. For instance, the OECD projects U.S. growth at 2.5 per cent in 2018. Quote It’s no wonder investors are turning their backs on Canada. Morneau’s budget was an opportunity to convince them that Canada remains a desirable place to invest. But rather than deal with our deteriorating investment climate, the budget turns a blind eye and advances policies focused on platitudes about gender equality, failed industrial policy and more income redistribution. But it gets worse. While investors were looking for the government to improve the business-tax regime, the budget’s most notable tax measure clarifies new rules on passive investments in private corporations. The result — higher taxes on entrepreneurs and yet another signal that Canada is inhospitable to investment. http://business.financialpost.com/opinion/morneau-delivers-a-budget-in-deep-denial-about-the-dangerous-territory-were-in
