Sad what divorce can do to kids. My Brother and I are equal on every front. Same town, parents, income, schools. Yet, his kids are a mess compared mine. Zambroski
I’d have to break out some type of high end ROI tool to see if kids are “worth every penny”. I’ve gone week to week for almost 20 on this question. I guess we all have to make it seem that way and say it (and agree when others say it) to make us all look empathetic and caring but, we’ve got friends that chose not to have any and they’ve lived quite well, retired early and don’t miss having children a bit. I’d manage just fine. This was my wife’s idea!

Yeah that one seems incorrect....guessing that is a decision reached by the divorcing parents and their respective attorneys.

Geez, that's too bad, I'd rather have kids than the selfishness, besides, they may say they don't miss having children but when they get older the loneliness will have an affect. What’s wrong with selfishness? There is really no such thing as a truly unselfish act. Not enough selfishness makes us unhappy......and state silly things that are lies to make it seem otherwise. My old man gave me a choice....I could work myself through college and live at home for free or, rent was $500/mo for the first year. Damn, I’m glad I took a lot of college level classes in HS! When the support stops the kids have either moved out or they’re paying rent and food costs. So I don’t understand the lifestyle change. Kids are fucking expensive. With out that kid payment there life style may have to change depending on there personal financial situation. yes kids can be expensive.
