Trump's AG Bill Barr has a history of cover-ups -- and he just struck again

come on dude....

do ya really think any of the damage on trump outlined in the report is going to get out to the public? won't be hidden somehow? why does barr get to decide on trump's obstruction charge? you still don't get it, which is a surprise really. others, not so much.

I think you vastly under rate the power of Congress in their oversight capacity and vastly over rate the AG and his ability to outright lie. It’s that simple.

The 4 page summary letter was from Barr AND Rosenstein.  Rosenstein, you know, the guy who signed the fourth FISA warrant against Carter Page and also oversaw the Mueller investigation.  He conveniently wanted to retire before the investigation was over.

Well played Trump, well played indeed.

i think you vastly under rate the damage trump and his enablers are doing to the country. look at all the shit this clown has done, in this investigation alone. barr thinks the potus is above the damn law and he, and mcconell, have laid the ground work to keep anything damaging to trump from getting out. jesus, wake the fuck up.

Who is in control of the House? Who has subpoena power? End of debate. If the House wants it, the House gets it. This isn’t theoretical. It’s the facts. All the shit he has done in this investigation? What are we talking about? Bitching on Twitter? Oh no... Did he fire Mueller? Fire Rosenstein? Actually mess with the investigation? No. You need to pull back and gain some control over yourself. No one is lying...

barr has the ability to keep, or modify, or summarize the mueller report and keep it from congress. have you not been paying the fuck attention? evidently not.

"The letter itself just announces that Barr has the report. The regulations governing the special counsel investigation do not require that Barr turn it over to anyone — even Congress. For his part, Barr has indicated a willingness to provide a summary of the report’s highlights, but that’s cold comfort for those wanting to know more than just whether Mueller found evidence sufficient to charge and convict individuals with a crime (Mueller has already answered that in the affirmative via dozens of indictments to date)."

Its obvious some of this goes above comprehension skills of this group.

Something I spoke about yesterday.  1. The President was not under investigation at the time. 2. Flynn had already been fired when Trump said to Comey he's a good guy. 3. Flynn was not under investigation for messing with the election.

Also as said before you cannot investigate the president for doing his constitutional duties.   Intent does not matter if what he did was constitutional. (Firing Comey)

From Barr's letter.

In making this determination, we noted that the Special Counsel recognized that "the evidence does not establish that the President was involved in an underlying crime related to Russian election interference," and that, while not determinative, the absence of such evidence bears upon the President's intent with respect to obstruction.

Generally speaking, to obtain and sustain an obstruction conviction, the government would need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that a person, acting with corrupt intent, engaged in obstructive conduct with a sufficient nexus to a pending or contemplated proceeding. In cataloguing the President's actions, many of which took place in public view, the report identifies no actions that, in our judgment, constitute obstructive conduct, had a nexus to a pending or contemplated proceeding, and were done with corrupt intent, each of which, under the Department's principles of federal prosecution guiding charging decisions, would need to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt to establish an obstruction-of-justice offense.

Lol are you serious? If there is evidence of wrong doing, they absolutely can subpoena him and the report under oath. Oh yeah, AND FUCKING MUELLER YOU DUMB CUNT!!! Your so blinded by hate and your absolute buy in to this whole non-crime that you can’t let go. It’s sad.

Justice Department rules now make Barr the sole keeper of the Mueller report. He alone decides what to do with it, including how much to make public and whether to pursue prosecution or other punitive measures based on RobertMueller’s findings. Certain aspects of the report will have to be redacted, such as grand-jury materials, classified details and information related to ongoing investigations. But beyond that, Barr will have almost total discretion over what to share with the White House, Congress and the American people.

LMAO. how are you going to find evidence of any wrong doing if you can't see the fucking report completely?

who the fuck knows what mueller will say or do. i'd hope he stand up and say something. but seeing what happened to others who stood up to trump can you blame him if he doesn't? this is probably why he left a crumb about the obstruction, and didnt want the weight of shit cast on him.

Slinger is trying to hide the fact he thinks Trump still colluded. He “says” he accepts it, but lol fuck no he doesn’t. This is sad. Any possible scenario is now it. Barr is lying. Mueller wouldn’t come forward. Congress can’t subpoena Mueller. Congress can’t force Barr under oath.

Bahahahahhahahaha so fucking dumb. It’s somehow easier to imagine Barr lying with the weight of the whole of Congress, hundreds of millions of Americans, and the fucking guy who wrote the report at his door step. Somehow, some fucking how, he’s just going to lie and that is that.

so i, and many other experts about this thing are wrong, and you and a couple of bozos have it all right? it's as simple as making a request for the mueller report

you'll come around again soon i'm sure. you always were a slow learner, but a learner nonetheless.
