They play a little movie in their head where they are the star of the show. They are going to survive, head to their cabin with and live happily while all hell breaks loose. The weird thing is they don't like solar panels or electric vehicles. Wouldn't an electric vehicle, solar panels and a power wall make more sense than a generator? These idiots think they'll sneak into town and bring back fuel regularly. With enough solar panels you could charge your vehicle, heat your cabin.
